Flirting with a girl at the gym?

so I go to the gym pretty much everyday. I personally like to stay in shape. (im not one of those guys who can't wipe their own ass cause their arms are so big) I just like to stay in shape. so I've noticed this girl that started going there and see her everyday I've been there. now would it be ok to talk to her and get her number during the work out? I know some people don't like to be bothered while they work out. and I'm not gonna creep out and wait around for her after. so ladies would it bother you if a guy came up and talked to you and wanted your number while you were at the gym? has it happened? and dudes, have you tried it? how'd it go?

so of course the day I'm gonna talk to her she's not at the gym. of course eh. gotta wait one more day.

That does not work. She will put her guard up immediately and smell a pickup and run off unless she's really really into you already. If you're antying looking like me, the average chump, then no it wont.

What works for me is to get her to notice you, ask her opinion on something. I can think of a line like:

"Hey can I ask your opinion?, you seem to be a regular here, so you are perfect.

[pause here to get her curious.]

I have my [sister, friend, female friend. etc.] wanting to come to this gym but she's really shy and private person and really hygiene crazy, so how does it feel here when it comes to the girls lockers? ARe you happy with it? "

See, girls always respond to a guy who needs a girls opinion.

Thats your conversation starter there. Now it's up to you to try to get it going. And don't ask for the number immediately. Note that this also saves you time/energy because the first time, you can see/feel how she responds to you and figure out if she is worth investing time further.

The next time you see her chat her up some more until you've built up a high enough comfort level where you can ask her for her number or to go out on a date.

No it wouldn't bother me but don't do while I'm in the middle of running or lifting and expect to get you a response. One time I was running and the guy on the treadmill next to be didn't even say hi but immediately asked for my number I just ran faster and ignored him lol. BUt I would totally go for strike up a conversation and then ask her.good luck!

well, it bothers I guess, a guy you don't even know personally asks you for ur number, I don't think any girl would be comfortable if you did that rite away, you need some ground work dude!

I think you should go for it .what harm can it do.its best to do it now while you have the chance.I personally being a girl would not be bothered by it.GO FOR IT.Girls like guys who are real with them
