I have some fine hair on my face lately, I'm 22...is this normal?

please help. I'm planning on going to my dermatologist but not sure if its something to freak out about. I researched hormone imbalace and some articles said it can be ovarian cancer and such...its freaking me out. Ladies, have you experienced abnormal facial hair growth?

Look at the symptoms, it's very unlikely you have this but it's a possibility.

Many girls get facial hair, it's unstoppable really.

I doubt it's cancer, you'd probably feel more down then that..

Honestly, it's normal! Don't worry about it, nobody really cares aslong as it isn't full on beard noticable or anything!

it might be a hormonal imbalance. I have this but I'm 60 pounds overweight. I'm going to try to lose weight because I didn't have this problem before. I hope once I lose the excess weight that my hormones will go back to normal and I won't have the excess hair.

I have been gaining weight too, so I think you're right I need to diet immediately as well and eat fresh fruit thanks so much

It's nothing to worry about, most women grow some kind of facial hair. You probably just have more testosterone in your system. Just wax it or bleach it and it'll be less noticeable.
