I had two morning after pills in 48 hrs, will I get health problems in future?

We went on vacation with friends and stayed together for the first time and we got really horny and did it. It was unplanned. So had an emergency pill the same night. But next day we got high and did it again. So had to have one more pill. It felt terrible, we both cried. We never did anything like this before, we both were virgins.

But now I am concerned about my health. I read on the net that these pills are harmful (it contained levonorgestrel) and that it should not be taken frequently.

I didn't have any severe symptoms, may be stomach cramps and sleepiness. But will it affect my future? Are my ovaries damaged?

I am very scared. We have pledged never to do it again but we're concerned about the health factor.

If you are worried, you should ask a doctor or pharmacist. They are the ones who can tell you what effects taking it too infrequently might have.

But, what's done is done. If there are long term effects, there's probably very little you can do. And they are probably not severe. Just do what you can for your overall health (eat well, exercise, etc) if you want to be as healthy as possible.There are lots of things that can damage your health. Chances are, this isn't even what might be harming you the most. There's no point worrying too much about a single thing when it comes to the longterm effect.

As long as you don't continue to take it frequently, you should be fine. Next time make sure you use regular birth control so you don't end up resorting to that. Have it on hand and avoid using mind altering substances when you might be having sex.

I have done that before. I had an ex who wouldn't use condoms, and sometimes would just decide he didn't feel like pulling out :/, unfortunately I didn't know that til after. So yea, I have taken so many morning after pills I've lost count. As far as the health concerns, all it will do is make your period come quicker. Although, it says you're not supposed to take more than one per cycle, in your case it was an emergency, but don't do it again because I'm not even sure of how much damage I could have done the times I did it, although I don't think its much. All I experienced was earlier periods, and I got a little depressed, but as for more serious issues with your ovaries, I'd suggest you see a doctor just to ease your concerns.

First of all your a f***ing idiot... you ARE NOT supposed to take those as a constant birthcontrol method... go to the f***ing doctor and get LEGITIMATE birthcontrol... or use condoms yes you can get health problems later on in the future because that messes with your cycle and you could become infertile (if that matters to you)
