Lydia Lunch, what do you think?

What do you guys think of Lydia Lunch? I'm listening through the Drowning in Limbo album, and I think its fantastic. Its dark and desolate and really just... Purely despairitive. It gives music to the way I feel most of the time, after my mental health took its last major dive.

Anyone ever heard of her? Know anyone like her? I'm interested in exploring this stuff.

i don't know much about her other than she was in the new york punk scene of the late 70's-early 80's. she made a record with sonic youth in the mid 80's. I'm tapped for any other info.

Yeah. I knew that much. She was buddies with a lot of the punks, too. Didn't know about Sonic Youth, that's cool. I listened to some people considered her contemporaries, and they seemed pretty crap, I dunno. I don't think there is anything like her, hahaha.
