Girlfriend Gained 80 Lbs.. How Do I Tell Her?

Just 2 years ago my girlfriend was 5'6 120 lbs.. now she's pushing 200 lbs. Her idea breakfast is chili fries and fried rice. I still love her but how do I tell her nicely that she needs to lose weight.. help

be completely honest with her and hopefully she listens to you

tell her she's beautiful and that she can do a lot more for herself

tell her you want her to feel good about herself and that you want her to feel sexy and be healthy!

she obviously knows she gained weight but she's avoiding confrontation about it so you need to be that person to make her realize that she needs to get back to the real her!

and if she doesn't take it in a good way, start calling her fat ! lolll jkkk! don't do that! :)

Yes, tell her but in a nice way. I doubt she hasn't noticed.

I think she should do this for herself, not anyone else, so maybe start an exercise regime and ask her if she'd like to join you - in a playful manner so she doesn't get offended.

Buy only healthy, organic food, vegetables, fruits, no bread or juice of any kind.

Go with what Sarah said. Try doing activities that are more active and say you want to start going to the gym or something and want her to come along so you have someone to go with. She might get the hint without you having to be a jerk haha. I'm sure she does know but sometimes girls just need a little push :)

and its nice cause it will make her feel horrible and want to lose weight.

Don't tell her. Try going to the gym with her and stuff. Like another activity for you guys to do together. Don't tell her though. That would literally break a girls heart.

This is a good idea but if she's not willing to change her diet the effort will be futile.

Not necessarily. I must say, I don't eat the best sometimes but I work out and it works. Also, after some time eating better just comes with it. I know from experience. He also needs to eat right and when you guys go out don't take her places that are bad for you, that's not helping the situation at all.

You just reiterated what I said. I just said it in less words. She will eventually need to eat better. Unless she has a massive metabolism (which I'm guessing she doesn't) then diet is a huge part of losing weight. "I know from experience" statements are like saying, "Neener neener I know more than you." How do you know "I" don't know from experience? I would say it's safe to assume anyone giving advice, unless they say otherwise, KNOWS FROM EXPERIENCE.
