If you are not into being sexually active, showering once every other day is sufficient under normal conditions.
Of course, that also depends on your occupation, the climate and a number of other factors. If you live in a humid, 100 degrees climate, then a daily shower is recommended. Otherwise, if you live in a temperate climate, then you don't need to take a daily shower.
The advantages are that you build up your biological resistance and that you save water. If you are sexually active, then I would recommend a shower of your intimate area before intercourse and a full shower after being intimate.
Showering too often isn't exactly good for you. Your hair and body needs it's natural oils too. I can understand if people have bad odor and want to be clean and smell nice. But I suggest people don't shower too often. Your body will actually overproduce the shit you want to get rid off If you shower too often.
Example: your hair is oily so you use a lot of shampoo. Your hair is really dry afterwards so to avoid ruining your scalp your body starts producing more oil making your hair even oilier than before. Boom the evil circle of oily hair is made
I typically shower every two or three days but I only think it’s okay for me to do so because I’m not an active person and I don’t sweat much at all or get very dirty during the day. I don’t have any problems with body odor and I feel clean enough at the end of the day to go right to sleep and shower the next day instead. If I were outside for a good portion of my day or if I ever did any kind of workout, I would shower that day, but I normally don’t do any of that, so I only shower every other day.
I tried not showering for 2-3 weeks but I quickly noticed slight development of dermitis neglects growing amongst parts of my skin from all the sweat and bacteria building up, I smelt bad and felt icky, but I started showering again for 4-5 days consecutively and all the problems went away. So ideally i shower pretty much everyday but may miss a day one in a while because of time.
It is not healthy to Shower/Bath every day, as the body produces natural oils.
I use to, and suffered very dry irate skin. Now i shower every 2-3 days, depending on how lazy i feel.

Had showered every day, due to exercising ever day, which i highly recommend looking through which body lotions/soaps you can use. Organic the better.

I normally shower once a day, preferably before dinner or before going to bed. Though if a day I feel clean I don't. We could say I shower between 4-7 days a week. I never shower more than once, unless I got reeeally dirty with mud or paint or something.
At least twice a day. First is when I get up to wash away the previous night's sex session, the second is before bed time so I am clean for the next sex session.
If we are going out for the evening, I usually have a third, to wash away the day's grime.
Usually twice a day. A shower in the morning and a bath at night to help me relax or a shower before my first job and a shower before my second job.

People who do not shower everyday are nasty... I don’t care what any dermatologist says... being funky is not okay. You may think you don’t smell but you might not even know that you do.
Unless you have good reason for doing it, your occupation for example, you should not shower every day. The more frequent showering causes your immune system to be weakened and you are likely to get sick more frequently. Keep that in mind.

I Shower every day and occasionally twice a day.
I Don't think it's an issue if you occasionally go a day without showering.
Sometimes I'll skip an hour if I oversleep to avoid being late for work, (But in that case I will have a quick sink wash and shower once I get back from work) or if I know I have no plans and am jusy gonna be home all day
Pretty much every day. I feel grimy if I don't shower. I do occasionally skip a day if I'm not going to work and am feeling lazy or am otherwise disinclined. If I'm relatively inactive in a day, I don't work up much of a stink and can go a couple of days before anyone would notice. But it doesn't feel particularly good.
Almost everyday. Sometimes I end up missing it on colder days, but every time I get very sweaty (even if I showered earlier) I wipe my skin with a damp washcloth especially the back, chest, armpits and feet.

I'm not that smelly. I can go every second day without washing. Sometimes, when I go trekking/camping for long periods, I still don't smell after 4 days or more.

I think people who are disgusted by the ones who don't take a shower every single day don't understand that you can clean your intimates, armpits and feet everyday without going over legs, back and belly who don't get dirty quickly when you don't have too active of a lifestyle.
Your body is not meant to be cleansed that much. Once or twice is plenty. It's again, society that has projected apon us that there is something wrong with us, that we are "dirty" if we don't scrub away the good layers - that we actually need to function well.
If you care about your skin and hair you shower every other day and only shampoo when hair gets too oily ( or every other day if you have dandruff or other related scalp issues ).
People who shower excessively groom their body to be showered excessively when by nature its not neccesary. People back in the day didn't bathe every day and we dont need to now.
Every other day, when no exercising activities are involved. Water is life, but it's a thin line there. When you are sick you definitely need a hot bath, but when you are healthy you should let your own body do it's thing. Or just a quick 5 minutes shower, just water, won't hurt.
I've skipped a few baths because I had not been dirty. Mostly i just didn't take a shower when i was a younger child playing and skipping baths on the weekend. But for me now I feel the dirt when I'm dirty and I MUST/HAVE TO/AND WANT... TO SHOWER, BATHE whatever u will. For me... I feel better and more like myself when I'm Cleaning Behind my ears on the daily...
At least once. I go to the gym most days and I shower after that so sometimes I'll shower twice because I don't want stink after a workout.
I don’t shower every single day but I always will just before work or any important event. And maybe I’ll pick random days for showering during a holiday from work where I have no special plans either 🚿🚿🚿
If you shower everyday, you waste a lot of water. I say shower when needed. I shower once a day in the mornings.
I shower every day. I just feel better doing it daily and I always look forward to it because it feels so nice.
I shower every other day or two in order to spare my hair. It’s really dry so rinsing it in hot water every day is no bueno.
In the tropics a daily shower is just required to stay 'civilized'.
I may skip a cool day if I feel 'lazy'... when l am in reasonable hygienic condition.
