Mouth sore remedies?

so. I have anxiety. and some nights in my sleep I chew on the inside of my cheeks. this of course leaves me with sores on my cheeks that actually peal (I know it's gross) is there anything I can do to help heel them?

What a bummer. I used to have this same problem, so I feel your pain. The best thing you can do is swish with some salt water. I told my dentist about it, and they gave me a night guard...for 70 bucks! if you wanna look into that to prevent further damage to your mouth, I suggest going to WalMart or something and get like a sports mouthguard. If you soak it in very hot water and then bite into it, it will make a mold of your mouth, and it's just as good as the 70 sh*t haha. Whatever you decide, good luck!

Yep! just a little dixie cup half full with two teaspoons of table salt, and you should be good to go :)

Hydrogen peroxide might help. It will bubble a bit when you put it on, but it's supposed to help heal cuts, especially inside the mouth. Try looking on Google for other natural remedies as well. Also, keep your tongue off the cuts during the day. It may feel good, but your tongue is actually like sandpaper on a cut.

Rinse with salt water

Use antiseptic mouth wash with low or no alcohol

Oragel or kanka can numb them if they are painful

Rinse with peroxide if you can stand it

I do the same thing at night and it is really annoying. You might try sleeping with a mouth guard, I could never get used to it though.
