Do your parents ever get on you about your diet?

I've had problems with constipation for several years and my father is a health fanatic so he's always picking on everything I eat claiming things will/won't work and he won't stop.Ever.

It's just how he is and it's really annoying and he knows it.

I can't eat junk food, I'm a vegetarian and my diet is the definition of healthy but he will always find a problem.

Do your parents ever comment on what or how much you eat?

As a child, my father grilled me on how 'fat' I was compared to the other stick-like Serbian girls around me. Frankly, I didn't give a sh*t what he said and was completely happy with who I was/am. What the idiot didn't seem to realize was that I had curves and t*ts (thank you mother), unlike the straight bodied/flat chested girls around me.

My mother on the other hand didn't give me any problems and told me I could be as skinny or fat as I wanted as long as I was happy and it wasn't detrimental to my health.

My mom did all the time. It basically gave me an eating disorder for a while. Make sure not to listen to your dad. He should STFU. You should eat whatever you want. And if you get constipated, just take some milk of magnesia and drink a ton of water.

They used to to tease me because I was a little chubby and I ate alot. Now they bug me because I don't eat enough, I'm "too skinny", and because I like to eat healthier foods. It is not uncommon for them to question my orders at restaurants, which can be embarrassing.

I can't tell ya how sorry I am to hear about your constipation. No, really, there aren't words to describe it.

Well I'm a vegetarian...Which gets on their nerves since we live in a country where this is link breakfast for one.
