Depends on your body fat percentage and whag your goals are. If it's aesthetics aka looking good then 5 to 10 lbs of muscles will look great if your around 15% body fat.

Also since your young you'll be able to get newbie gains. I would look up some bodybuilders YouTubers they can give you a lot of good information.

I’ve just started working out again , I’ve been on and off since 14 so I know you’re usual Jeff nippard, Brandon hardbody etc. So that’s good , I know nothing about my body fat percentage

Eh cheapest way to tell your body fat percentage is just to compare your self to pictures.

It's not accurate though, basically the lower your body fat is aka how much fat you have on your fame can change how muscler you look.

Such as if someone has 10 lbs of muscle and has a 15% body fat then there going to look a lot more muscler and weirdly bigger then someone who has 30% on there frame.

If you look at the top bodybuilders they have around 4-5% body fat on them hence why you can see every line in there muscles.

If you want abs the amount of fat on your frame is more important than how strong your core is.

there's a saying abs are made in the kitchen not the gym, depending on genetics, how strong your core is and other stuff your abs could start to show at 15% body fat at the highest.

Well I’ve just checked and I’m pretty sure I’m 15% body fat , if so what can I do?

Well keep mind that just a rough guess, i would say focus on your core, if you wanna get abs. The larger your abs are they will show up at high body fats.

But genetics do play a role so i would say find a decent work out program or just do some ones you like and get working, only way your going to find out what works for you is doing it.

I mean my main goal is bigger chest especially, and 15 inch biceps and large back , I see abs as a muscle group I will see once I start cutting

I would still say around 10 lbs which can take a while. Your 3 main lifts are bench press, dead lift and squat. Do these 3 and just add some more lifts on.

If your doing it with body weight pushups, pull ups and squats.
