How to deal with this?

I like to cut myself and lately iv been pretty good about not doing it but my parents always make comments about my weight. An example would be: " you know your fat, and people don't like fat people." or " why do you do your make up or hair, if anyone tries to tell you that you look good there's something wrong with your eyes. I just don't know what to do anymore I try to lose weight and I cant, any advice would be nice.. Please and thank you.

shouldnt let someone get to you like that. you know they don't care about you and they would never have anything good to say. but there's people who do like you! there's people who cares! just cause its not your family doesn't mean anything! if you like how you are, then stay this way! don't give in to them! don't lose weight cause they want you to. lose it cause you want to!

stress does cause you to gain weight sometimes! I'm stress too but I gave up trying :(

just don't listen to them! think about your kid...you can't cut yourself everyday or whenever you feel like it. it just hurts other people know they can't help. stop for them. I stopped cause my boyfriend started hitting himself and cutting himself just to prove a point. instead of trying to lose weight try to stop hurting yourself more.youd find a way to get through this! I'm sure youve been told to get a job and move out asap. but I know its not that easy...so you're gonna have to suck it up till you can :x not much you can do to change the way your parents think

I know exactly how you feel, I used to be in the situation you are in now. My parents and some people around me make remarkable comments like that about the way I look. I used to cut myself in places that people would be able to see, which was pretty stupid. So then they soon got the idea of what was happening. But then I started opening up to the people that cared about me, and the people I cared about, the people I simply cared about. You see I come from a very supportive family and I have caring friends around me, which was very helpful at the time. You need to learn to open up to the people that love you and the people you love. Because if you don't you will never get past this and now I've learn't that you shouldn't care what people think about you. You should only care about what you think about yourself and who bcares how you look in everybody else's eyes. Because to be honest their opinion doesn't really matter. I hope I helped abit.

Hurting yourself never helps in the end. I used to hurt myself, and I had insecurities about myself. But you've just got to remind yourself that you're the sh*t! You're freaking awesome! I would say to find a friend you can tell everything to. And don't listen to your parents, they are awful people.

if you want to lose weight then start exercising consistently, do some jogging.

You should really stop cutting yourself, its stupid and all your gonna get from it is scars, I was the same, from all those people calling me a slut, I didn't do nothing, I stopped and now, all I got are stupid little, Dumb scars, that don't mean anything.

Run a few miles a day. There's no way that you wouldn't drop some weight from that.

Plenty of guys on my football team have asthma, and playing ball is more stressful on the lungs than jogging is.

Well, you're not going to drop weight unless you do cardio. People can talk about diets and pills all they want, they're no substitute for good old fashioned running.
