Do you allow your significant other to make demands of you that meaningfully undermine your identity?

I know a lot of guys whose wives made them give up their motorcycles, sports cars, hunting, and other lifelong interests. None of those women would tolerate their fellas telling them what they can or cannot do.
So this question is kind of a litmus test to see how pervasive this inequality truly is.
Do you allow your significant other to make demands of you that undermine your identity?
