It's a vicious cycle that's hard to break even tho I know its happening.

I work out more when I hate my body and get depressed, then I get happier with myself amd sense I'm content I stop working as hard, let my diet slip and go back up in weight.
So my driving factor is that I'd like it if chicks would ever find me attractive, but I also have a girlfriend and have no intentions of cheating so my looks dont matter much rn.

Long story short my strongest motivator is hating myself so when I dont hate myself I'm not nearly as motivated.
I need to find a way to maintain my motivation AND have a positive mindset.

I refuse to be fat and unhealthy again.
For the majority of my life, I've always been overweight, or "chubby" as my mom called me. Not obese, but definitely out of shape.

In my late 20s, I finally got serious about my health because I refused to be put on medications and have health issues, as they tend to run on my dad's side of the family (hypertension, diabetes, high cholesterol, etc). So I started to eat better and lose weight-

I'm now down over 70 pounds, in decent shape, and a healthy weight. Not to mention, I love wearing small clothes, haha.

But what motivates me to workout? I like being healthy. I don't want to be fat again; it didn't feel good and it was terrible for my self esteem. Most importantly, it feels GOOD being fit! I feel good after a good workout, like I'm ready to seize the day, even if I'm not.

I actually enjoy working out and like trying different workouts or activities. I workout to be fit, build strength since I am weak, build up my endurance so I don't get tired too often, increase stability, and it helps relieve mental and emotionally stressors I have in my life

I find it fun, swimming, climbing, parkour, etc etc.
So it is just part of my life now, for my body to keep up with my activities.

I did buy/build a home gym for myself, like the rich folks, with cablr machines, dumbell sets, even a proper good quality poledancing pole. Where i also work on improving myself 6 days a week.

I have been at it for about 16 years now. Would feel strange to let myself go.

Also, when my partner chose/chooses me for life, then i better be the best version of myself throughout.

I haven’t been able to do Taekwondo since last Oct. Not being that height of fitness makes me realize how good it felt to be that healthy. I never planned to be away from it so long (life does happen and domino..) and need to get back into it. The comparison between last Aug and now… it’s enough motivation for me to put in the effort.

I find exercise relaxing and fun. It's more of a mental enjoyment for me. Of course, I admit that I negate the exercises I don't enjoy.

It's something I enjoy alone, it clears my mind and gives me a positive attitude. I feel so happy while I'm exercising that I can't wait to do it again.

Exercising with a partner is a lot of fun because it's a time of being joyful together, it's a fun activity, we share laughs, and it is a time of confidence building.

I don't work out I just work I used to work out when I was in my twenties cuz I race dirt bikes and I was sponsored and my motivation was to win a trophy and cash. Today I don't work out but I work and I like seeing and physically good condition then one reason is because I feel better number two reason is because I love sex and number three if I can't get a good workout when having sex then something's wrong and I don't like that

I guess just wanting constructive results of any kind to show after I've already put in the work.

I'm never initially motivated. So I always have to force myself to work out at first. But after I do that, I'll want to eat healthily so my results will actually show. Which will in turn, make me motivated to workout again so that I can put the energy to good use. And then the cycle continues.

I'm just naturally active, I ride bicycles cross country , I'm looking at buying land in the mountains , there's a 300 acre parcel with a lake I'd like to buy so I can hike up there and build a cabin. If exercise isn't fun, you won't..

I’ll admit I’m not a big fan of exercise, but I do like the way I feel when I am in shape. So for me it’s how I feel physically and emotionally that motivates me! 😊

Tony Robbins says we need to used pleasure and pain techniques to achieve our goals. Out of the two, pain is more powerful. So what motivates me to work out is the fear of diabetes.

I usually don’t do anything until i don’t fit in my clothes. And then try a bit to work out and then do nothing again. This circle goes like this.

I think i’m lucky genetically i don’t do much but stay in shape anyway.

Death. Yup, death has always motivated me to do anything. As a sickly child, there were a couple of times the doctors almost wrote me off. I was determined to not let it win.
