Youtube, taking out the trash! Not just banning the anti-Covid crap. But all anti-vax videos in general. How long before they start banning videos of the dreaded Lizard-Human hybrid invasion?
YouTube said it is banning all content claiming that approved vaccines do not work or are harmful.
That includes vaccines for illnesses other than the coronavirus disease for the first time.

And let me make it clear I am not anti-vax and am vaccinated for several things. But I do have a right to be suspicious when the government is threatening people and trying to force a experimental, rushed vaccine that lacks full official FDA approval and is working off of emergency status onto folks.
And I especially have a right to be suspicious when a family member of mine immediately after taking his 2nd dose of the vaccine became paralyzed from the neck down and is currently in a hospital bed being fed through a tube. And probably will never move, walk or work again.
Which by the way it's illegal to try and force a vaccine like that onto people.
Everyone owes it to themselves to do their own research from varied sources to find out what is actually going on and if the vaccine is really safe. You shouldn't just take something on blind faith especially something like this.
But no one can research, have a discussion, etc if people are banning everything because they don't like it or it doesn't fit the narrative. That's not gonna solve anything.

Well considering that the USA government has experimented on its citizenry before & how much public officials have already been lying to us, Dr. Anthony Fauci being a prime example, I am more inclined to trust what the establishment rallies against.
If a medicine for covid is censored on social media (which has admitted working with the government) then it immediately gains my attention.

See Portugal numbers of new cases today with 84% of the population vaccinated and the number we had before the vaccination began. How can I disapprove it? You are European. You live in Germany. So I want to take moment to re-explain the difference between Europe and America, even as @billyballs and @rachelspiks do not know what those differences are.
Germany is built upon Germany culture, Germany history and the German people. That forms the basis for a general consensus of Germans when it comes to racism, anti-semitism, etc. So I can generally understand that Germany would legally ban certain ideas and philosophies.
That ain't the United States.
The U. S was formed on the basis of an idea, not on the basis of a single culture. In the beginning there were Germans, British, Scottish, Spanish, Irish, etc. . . created a nation that allowed for all Europeans to exist here with their culture and religion intact, free from government interference. It took a couple of centuries to extend those same rights to "Blacks", American Indians, women, etc.
But that core concept still remains.

I think that, even if their customers are advertisers, running out of their product (eyeballs) would hurt the bottom line, and being known as a place that promotes dangerous conspiracy theories *might* have that effect. Why is that law in Germany but in the U. S? Because of Germany's history with killing six million Jews. It is one of the defining moments in German history. It makes perfect sense to pass that law given the context of the experience of the German people.

As for vaccinations, here is the lie. If the vaccine makes it less probable that you would get the virus, then of course you would spread the virus as a lower rate than an un-vaccinated person. And then most jurisdictions still enforce mask wearing especially in work environments. If I leave my office to go to a different unit, I must be wearing a mask.

Of course, it will work. Every single platform has terms of service. How you do not understand this is beyond understanding. You are on a site, that has terms of service. If you violate those terms your post will be removed. Repeated violations will result in banning. This is so simple.

My point stands whether a number of global corporations that are heavily supported by the government through lucrative contracts and uneven enforcement of regulations collude to shut down competitors and then censor the public square or whether the government does so directly does not matter. Censorship of political opinion will not age well whether it is done via ToS and collusion or whether it is done directly by law.

2. There is an entire website, literal. gov dedicated to vaccine injury reporting... (VAERS. gov) The *FDA also put out a list of side effects. In the case of big pharma, you might have a point, because they get subsidies. But we give Youtube jack. Google bought youtube, they can do whatever they want with it.
You are correct Google can do whatever they want with their platform as they continue to do. A lot of content creators across the board in all aspects wind up dealing with their choices and decisions which ultimately makes things harder and more frustrating in the long run to do anything.
As for the pharmaceutical companies, it has routinely been demonstrated that if they can milk every penny out of people to line their pockets, then they'll jack up the prices to obscene levels because they can. Don't get me wrong, I get that it takes money to do research and find ways to cure diseases, but if they can take something that could potentially cure or neutralize a disease or virus, and turn it into a life time treatment, than they will because there is greater gain from long term treatments over actually solving the problem.
That said I'm not anti-vax, hell I got the Covid vaccine with absolutely no side effects (for now). I did it to appeal my elderly family so that they'll be more comfortable visiting again. However I've known a lot of people that have gotten the vaccine and was brutally sick. So when you have stories like that, and you see it happen it's understandable to be sceptical about the whole thing. Add to it the fact that the vaccine doesn't actually prevent Covid but might simply dumb down the effects, than it adds more fuel to the fire. Sure there are those on both sides of the argument that are crazed about the whole thing, but there is enough scepticism in the middle ground that it's easy to understand why one might not choose to get it. For example early reports of a potential triggering of Bells Palsy was reported during clinical trials, well a good friend of mine suffers from that, and so knowing that there is a chance, no matter how minute, for it to happen again is enough for her to decide against it. I've had coworkers hospitalized from the vaccine, not Covid. The point is that you shouldn't simply bash every single person who hasn't or is sceptical about it because just like Covid, there is a lot of misinformation about it, including from reputable sources. It's honestly too soon to know the long term effects of the vaccine, we're only hoping that it'll help one day make this a thing of the past. I don't blame people for their scepticism, and if anything I respect their decision because at the end of the day, that is theirs to make.
