What Girls & Guys Said

It's not attractive or natural to have that kind of muscle on either a girl or a guy. So our instinct is to reject it.
Muscles are associated with masculinity. A woman with “masculine” qualities make a lot of men feel threatened or unmasculine.
Hahaha so a guy with tits makes you feel threatened too?
@Hallo626262 not at all, I don’t sexualize mammary glands
Because you are a heterosexual female. by the way tits are ONLY sex objects they serve no biological purpose no other animal has them.
Not that this has anything to do with my point. I don't sexualize muscles.
@Hallo626262 Oh trust me, they do feel insecure when they see a dude with bigger breasts than they do. And here she is sitting denying it but does think that we men feel "threatened" by a woman pumped with steroids hahah.
I think your opinion was valid, albeit I don't agree but you don't deserve those comments for this opinion
@Hallo626262 I’m actually Bisexual lol thank you very much. Also all mammals have mammary glands including humans, they are used to feed babies lmao, just in case you missed health class. And I didn’t say all men @TruthBringer, I said some men, usually just the ones with fragile masculinity size complexes.
"qualities make a lot of men feel threatened or unmasculine."
Where did you notice "some men"? Backpeddling on your words isn't going to work here sweetie. It's literally there black on white. There is a difference between "some" and "a lot". So no, we've already seen your true color here. You're trying to patronize men for not wanting to associate with steroids filled "women".
@Subarugirl i never said anything about mammarial glands. I talked about breasts. You know what that is? Non of what you said has anything to do with my point. But great that you're bisexual i guess.
@TruthBringer I’m not going to argue over semantics, some, a lot, it doesn’t matter unless you are one of those people.
@Hallo626262 you realize that mammary glands are breasts….. right? Lol
@Subarugirl uh no. It does NOT make us feel threatened. It’s enshrined into our DNA to be attracted to feminine features. You don’t understand how the male brain works at all.
@Subarugirl no it's a gland. Lol. Wtf. Men litterally have them too. And it's not what men are attracted too. They are attracted to breast which house them but really aren't needed.
@Hallo626262 I will disagree here.. I want the tit.. I need the tit.. you can call it mammary gland or breast or boob.. to me it has a function other than feeding babies.. they are my my preferred stress squishy balls. I am very attracted to the tit and last I checked, I was a man.
@Subarugirl You started arguing over semantics. And I corrected you on it. It's obvious you're taking a shot at men in general. Hence why you say " a lot of men". No surprise that you started to back off as soon as you realized you fucked up
I dunno all I know is I desire a woman who is just as tall, heavy, tough and at least as strong as I am. Even stronger would make me happy 😁 as long as they don't look like they roided so hard that Arnold Schwarzenegger felt it
could you unfollow me so I don't get asked to share on these post? Thanks and have a wonderful day/night...
because it is seen as less feminine and a masculine trait as biologically for the majority of women muscles like the one’s imaged are a lot harder to build than in men.
I don't think women with abs and muscles are less feminine
I love crossfit women
It becomes less feminine when they take steroids and testosterone hormones and look like female Arnold Schwarzenegger
@whatever932 I think women can definitely be hot and have muscle tone but when they start to lose some of the female or feminine qualities like they throw off the cycles (I know I’m about to catch hell) which really I don’t know enough about female cycles and periods and what not anyways or when their voice gets a little deeper or they lose some of that softer part of the personality that kind of stuff is wear I lose attraction but I guarantee that women are more judgmental about this than men are
It depends but muscles are synonyme of fights , physical strenght and masculinity
Muscles got nothing to do with masculinity bcoz masculinity and femininity is behaviour
Muscles and abs are appearance
She's spending a lot of time on developing her body. This does not obviously translate to being a good mother and perhaps implies quite the opposite.
At a fundamental level, many men want a woman who will provide children and raise them.
I actually like a women who is into working out, but I don't want or need a body builder. I like women who are attractive to me and I don't see overly large musclar women attractive
A little muscle on a girl is sexy for me; too much muscle distorts the female body, destroying its femininity. This is my opinion only; I don't care about the rest.
Straight dudes don't go for women who look like dudes? Go figure...
Biology.
The synthesis of skeletal muscle is tied to male sexual hormones, namely testosterone.
It's a male sexual trait.
Men don't "appreciate" muscle on women for the same reason they wouldn't appreciate a beard, or a penis- women are not supposed to have it.
All of your points can be valid.
Personally, I really like muscles on women.
I don't dislike it but I don't like it as much as I do a woman without a lot of muscles. I think it's simply because as a man I'm attracted to the feminine aspects of a woman.
They're not attractive, if I wanted to date some muscled up person I'd date my local gym bro. Women should be smooth and soft, not roided up.
Cos women are portrayed and seen as feminine pretty, nice hair, make up, lumps in the right places, and muscles on women is seen as not very feminine, i love muscles on women myself
I do, I go to a Spanish mass and this Spanish women had some muscular calves. I had some sexual thoughts to be honest. She wasn’t muscular per say but you could tell she works out. Sexy woman
Cos it don't look good. The answer is simple. . and it goes against what feminism is suppose to be. If all men grew poney tails and wore makeup I don't think girls would appreciate it either
I mean femininity*
2---- They feel threat to their musculinity when a women is stronger and has muscles.
Women tend to look manly or third gender at some point? It is against common mindset. We have this presets what who women is. What she should look like. What she should behave like.
the problem i believe is that the natural and feminine in a woman is to have a little fat to give the shapes and the overdeveloped upper limbs are linked to a masculine vision
Absolutely. When women have too little body fat they start looking like men (face, butt, chest, thigh/legs and so on).
@hahahmm yes and even in the wellness category I don't see a beautiful female body, it's still very masculine
You can have all the muscles in the world, just don’t expect guys to fall in love with it. It grosses me out honestly if she’s built like the hulk.
probably for the same reason why people dont appreciate manboobs and big asses on men
I actually enjoy it. I think the pic you've posted is hot.
In my opinion? Those "people" simply hate women. Misogynists.
So... you don't think most people just have their personal preferences regarding aesthetic appearance?
I don't even have much attraction to women with deep voices. Bug muscles... that's just a big turn off to me. There's nothing I could do about it... and I think it would make sense for a lot of personality types to seek traits that signal "This person is female" to our instincts... and typically women have smaller muscles than men. That certainly doesn't mean we should badmouth muscular women... but I figure it's kind of how like how men who aren't skilled at giving the impression they can provide a lot of security will be less attractive to many women. It's just biology... and that's okay. It's not hurting anyone to go after what our instincts want, in terms of physical appearance. I think we need to spread the word that that's okay... just like it's okay for women to be muscular.
@Halibut
They can have their preferences and I can have mine. I never said otherwise.
Then I'm curious about what you meant by "Those "people" simply hate women. Misogynists." That's the key point or not... because to me that sounds like you believe misogyny is the primary root of a lack of physical attraction to especially muscular women. Now... if we're talking about people insult such women... then I would be surprised if that's rooted in misogny... but I seldom even get attracted to African American woman... and that's fine. I dread a society in which women are taught to feel guilty for being most attracted to tall men too. I think people would be best off relaxing about this stuff... whether we're talking about a lack of attraction to muscular women or white men or whatever.

(I edited this because my last post was filled with typos)
@Halibut
Easy. As soon as verbal aggressions are launched, that's hatred. Be it something like "belong to the kitchen" or "shouldn't work".
yeah, definitely
The assumption they are boys who transgendered to being female/that they have no uterus and no ovaries.
There are some super hot Hollywood actors who have exclusively dated tall and athletic women so I don't think it's true.
Simple, a toned smooth middle is more feminine and attractive while a six pack on a woman is a nice achievement but not as sexy.
The one reason I don't like muscles on Women is cause it takes away
her sex appeal for sure
Depends how much muscle people have. I don't like 2 much muscle on people (doesn't matter if it's woman or man). But it seems gross on woman (4 me it's not woman).
Having muscles is a masculine trait and most men are attracted to feminine traits not masculine.
I would agree with it being seen as masculine and not femanine. I would also say most people judge a person before they get to know them.
Everyone feels that they become more masculine by gaining muscles. But in my opinion it's a choice of each individual.
Muscles and abs got nothing to do with masculinity
Masculinity and femininity is behaviour
Meanwhile muscular, abs, fat, skinny are appearance and health
@whatever932 What are you even talking about? The bigger your muscles the more masculine you become, it's a scientific fact. If a woman got broad shoulders and big biceps/triceps combo she appears more masculine, sure she might behave in a feminine manner but still her appearance is more masculine.
Lol, there's plenty of people who appreciate muscles on women... but there is a limit before it starts being too much.
To specify, i mean body builder macro amounts of red bulk muscle. Pink muscle is functional muscle that doesn't bulk easy but provides great strength... think like swimmers & martial arts muscle.
Because they're not attractive or appealing to me. But sure make up some batshit crazy excuses of men not liking them because you can't accept another opinion, foh
Maybe bc its not seen as feminine?
Nope, masculinity and femininity is behaviour
And being muscular, skinny or fat is physical appearance and health condition
And I personally love strong women with abs and all
But however women building their body like a body builder using testosterone hormones and stuff is a turn off for me bcoz it away the womanly look
Women can be stronger than men and still be feminine...
All those reasons you listed are bullshit, with the exception of number 1. The short and simple reason a lot of men don’t “appreciate” muscles on women is because they don’t find it to be attractive.
Because men seek for power and muscles on woman have make men more inferior
Because for todays beauty standards, it's not attractive.
Overly muscular women just are not attractive. Now tone women are hot, but that's it.
I think more power to her - buuuut when she starts to look like a dude I gots ta pass.
It's not the stereotypical image of a feminine woman.
Makes them look manly. Men don't typically like women that looks similar to his friend Steve from planet fitness.
Being muscular is a masculine quality which I don’t appreciate women having.
Muscles do have gender?
Yes. Men are biologically stronger because of testosterone level
But muscle are related to physical charecteristics not biological
But muscle is a physical characteristic that most women don’t develop
And actually... it's harder for women to build muscle than it is for a man so for a woman to get to the bulky defined look of a male body builder means she's more of a gym rat (and roid addict) than him. It's like picking the most insane person in the insane asylum & then claiming anybody who thinks you're wrong is nuts.
Could be for the same reason Some women are not interested in short men
I love a fit/muscular lady. Because it pushes me to work out more. Lol
its that we are biologically predisposed to not find that attractive
I think it's just not a trait they like to see on a woman, that's all.
Imagine this as the equivalent of Escanor and shirts
ever seen women who squat and film them self and have millions of subscribers on instagram? millions of subscribers
i only keep my body fit toned
Same
@WowwGirl otherwise i dont want to look like man
They look like a man after a point.
How does looks define gender?
Biology
Biology makes gender. Biologically a woman doesn't look like a man and if she does she usually as you can see by ALL the answers below not attractive to straight men
If a female deer had antlers a male deer would not want to mate with it.
I literally can't not make it any simpler then the fourth grade science example
You can dislike it all you want homie it's true. Maybe you have gay tendencies.
I guess Physical charecteristics does not change their biology
Changes the natural look of a female.
Changes Straight men's attraction to them. Also, other women as you can see by my likes,,,, find them different from themselves and view them as more manly.
Sadly most people dont know the difference between being muscular and being musculine.
I dont have gay tendencies, iam open enough to accept and respect someones choices and interests
It's your life I just answered the question
Cuz its too masculine. Men are attracted to women who are delicate and can take care of.
Women are self centered without muscles. Add muscles and that becomes an understatement
Men or women in general with muscles like that make me cringe
I find them to be unattractive after a certain amount on both men and women.
Wife is more ripped than I am. Full six pack. It’s the hottest thing ever.
I don’t know about most men but I don’t mind it I just hope she can handle herself.
It’s a myth, most guys, including mysel, think it’s cool.
They can do whatever makes them happy, personally I like a girl that looks feminine, not masculine.
It probably makes guys feel weaker.
That's a strawman argument. No where in hell would this make us feel "weaker". We simply do not feel attracted to hyper masculine females. The majority of women do not like these bodybuilders on steroids, let alone us on a female?
Men are biologically programmed to be repulsed by anything not feminine when looking for a mate. That has nothing to do with "feeling weakened" (poor argument). I expected better from you, Flower.
