Also, getting covid does not provide immunity from all strains. Not to mention the internal damage it will have done will be realised further down the line. Even then immunity only lasts a month or two before it wanes.
Looks like you are part of the too-scared-for the-shot foundation. Plus, will be deemed a bed blocker when you get it again.21 Reply- +1 y
Well bucko, it appears with a vaccine you're not protected very well either. Because they seem to keep adding boosters. Last I read they were considering now a fourth shot that you will have to take. Yes getting covid doesn't provide immunity from all strains just like a vaccine doesn't help with all variants. You do realize that further down the line we have no idea what damage is being done to your body based on some foreign substance that's untested that you have injected. Reading today I saw that they feel now Omicron, not being that severe is going to cause this to go from pandemic to endemic. I can take my natural immunity and few months before it wanes or I can take some thing called a vaccine (maybe) that lasts a few months before it wanes and I have to take a booster shot.. again. This thing has barely been through any testing and trial phases no wait you are the trial phase. I'll wait and see how it turns out for you in a few years then maybe I'll get jabbed. Oh in the same report that was talking about the endemic was talking about it being more like the flu. Isn't it great we're in a free country where we can make our own decisions and live with our own consequences? Did you see Joe's face when the supreme Court knocked down his mandates ruining his opportunity at tyranny? (Damn that Constitution thing) If you didn't you should watch it's priceless.

It’s possible you could have some natural immunity. With almost every disease there are random firebreaks of people who are immune from the get-go. Once Covid gets in a home, everyone is exposed. Of the five people in mine with the original strain, 3 got it, 2 didn’t. The two that didn’t have been exposed directly multiple times and have never displayed symptoms or tested positive.

+1 yI don’t know, I had the original and it was pretty gnarly. Would have rather waited and gotten Omicron. Everyone I know who’s gotten it has gotten it very mildly.

Not me man if I've got to get it give me the nastiest bastard out there. I know it's not a surprise everyone is going to get covid eventually. It does not matter how many vaccines you take or how many times you've had it. I've read some reports that are predicting that Omicron will be the very one that every single person on the planet will eventually contract. No shots for me.
+1 yAt this point, the worst has passed regarding Covid. It's just gonna be a flu from here on out.

you do realize that no vaccine is 100% effective right? The purpose of being vaccinated is to equip your immune system to recognize the virus sooner and do a better job at fighting it off... this is like basic high school science.

I know the purpose of a vaccine and I know about natural immunity. I can't trust injecting a foreign substance into body that is nothing but one big question mark. I know a little bit more about immunology than you're giving me credit for. There's a few basic questions that I need answered before I would inject it into my body. But there's inconsistencies that really make me hesitant. A few reasons why: First Dr fauci is a walking contradiction. We were promised a vaccine is coming, we got it, cool. Wait 30 days later you need a booster... hmmm ok A few months later oh wait now you're to need a third shot.. Ahhhh this is starting to sound fishy. How do they know it has no long term testing? Next you take the three shots but you still have to wear a mask and probably quarantine as well and keep your six feet social distancing. You've taken three shots of "something" yet you're still having to do the same things that you were before. So where's the protection?🤔 I am doing the same thing you are except I don't have three shots of some foreign and untested substance in my system. Next we find out that even with the vaccine you can still contract and spread covid. In Europe a few months ago they begin rumbling about needing a fourth shot. At this point I became a hell no. Currently in Europe and I just saw today here. They are saying that the Omicron variant will most likely cause this to go from pandemic to endemic. I read day the FDA is cautioning people taking home test and laboratories that a certain manufacturer sent out the same test for both lab and home. There's a very high possibility of false results yep you need another test. With the few that mentioned plus today finding out we're not even sure we're getting the right tests kits or not. I have zero faith in it at this point. You took your risk I'm taking mine. I hope we both make it.

Dude… do you know what was int that fast food you ate?
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yOr you could've just gotten vaccinated and been better protected without risking your life. 🙄

You're directing me to a CDC site I'm to trust when the FDA announces today warning laboratories and folks taking certain home tests that the manufacturer was using the same test for both home and laboratories. That leads to a very high number of false results according to the article. So you want me to put my faith in a cdc. gov release when they (gov) can't even get the testing part of this correct. No I don't think so.
Opinion Owner+1 yAre you sure covid didn't affect your brain, cuz i'm having a hard time trying to understand wtf you're talking about.
But let me get this straight, you won't trust the cdc, but you'll trust a cult leader whose told 30,000 lies, and propaganda "news" sources who lie about everything and spread conspiracy theories. ok, got it.
+1 yI haven't caught it yet, even though I'd kinda like to for 2 weeks off work 😅
My work just had an outbreak of it: 40 people have it.01 Reply

I got one of those rapid covid test that they're giving it local schools. Opened it up didn't know swabbing of any sort all I did was add a couple of drops of tap water. Guess what the results were? Yep you got it tested positive for covid with tap water. Then they want me to trust a vaccine.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yI haven't gotten it yet. 🤷🏼♂️ My aseptic technique is flawless; thanks to my mom being a germaphobic nurse.
