
What is the best effective workout for a toned stomach?


Weight training to build muscle mass. Increases your daily requirements to maintain your current weight. More muscle = more calories needed to keep your fat stores. Cardio has short term gains in terms of weight management BUT is excellent at improving your endurance and training your involuntary muscles like your heart as well as your inspiratory muscles like your diaphragm and rib muscles.
A couple things to consider:
1. Having shredded abs is not healthy for most people. Medical research has proven this a thousand times over so it's not a "healthy" goal but if it's what you want you do you.
2. Get your hormone levels checked. Estrogen begets fat, fat stores estrogen, and the cycle continues. This one in particular is why I'm happy to be a man and why a lot of women struggle with weight loss.
3. From your photo you don't NEED to lose weight. Like at all. If you want to that's your choice.
4. If you want to have children in the near future, no assumptions, pay attention to your weight but in an easier way than obsessing over it lol. Women require fat to menstruate as well as to provide sustenance for the child indirectly. Your body with enough weight loss will prioritize your survival over the child's.
5. Enjoy your gym time and have fun!
Stop worrying about isolating one muscle group and work out the whole body. A beginner mistake is focusing on isolation workouts rather than working out their body. The more muscle you get the faster your Metabolism. Do compound workouts. My friend got a sexy six pack and he never did any ab workouts in his life. He just did pulls dips bench press dead lifts.
If you want ab workouts avoid doing the ones where you round back because they become useless very quickly and you need to add weight and you can hurt your back pushing all that weight on your spin into the ground.

And I know another guy he's been working construction for 8 months and he's a nice tone six pack and he doesn't even workout at the gym. And he never did ab workouts.

Water consumption routine is number one.. you could probably fix your water intake and get a more desirable body on that fact alone. Most North Americans can’t even begin to imagine how pathetic they are in the eyes of the rest of the world just in the sole fact they don’t use their water to there advantage.
Secondly if you are an X athlete using a sport to your advantage will throw you into getting not only abs faster but more powerful and defined.
Write your goal down along with the word “choice” place it in a spot you will love to see everyday.

Hanging knee raises and cable crunches are working for me. I treat it just like any other hypertrophy work with progressive overload. I don't see a point in doing a ton of reps.
I guarantee my method of having gelato every day is not working in sprite all my efforts, it isn't working. intentional mispelling.
I might suggest cross fit, those people get ripped.
Abs workouts are just for the muscles behind your tummy, for toning it you need to do resistance training and HIIT. Mix of Ab workouts, resistance training and HIIT will get you the shape

A calorie deficit by cardio or eating less calories than you burn off.. Or eating clean and a lot of protein and working out..
doesn't matter. what matters is having any high intensity training and a good diet. your body decides where to burn fat independend of which area of it you train.
Sit ups n crunches, squats n also kinda hitting your stomach after you left lift from when you come up from doing squats, hot leg, chest n stomach n it'll tighten up your muscles n what not
Sex, I'll get judged but getting fucked and having sex is a amazing work out, else plank, crunches, cycling, sit ups and leg raises

80% is diet. The rest is just normal excercise like jogging or crunches.

Which exercise do you do?
Situps, crunches, flutter kicks - hundreds of them per day.
And cut out the junk food.
Best place to start is doing verious types of pushupa and sit ups.
