Also I am not shaming anyone, I have an eating disorder. I want to find people's opinions on this!

Looks like a lot of pain...
Reminds me of people who suppress things/ emotions, and those who lose feeling altogether.
I know for one: this is not really seen in the animal kingdom.
Those weight differences are supremely based on their mental state.
Disorders can be treated. Wounds can heal..
and luckily, weight can be adjusted. Things CAN change.
my interpretation: Both cannot function in daily athletics,
but it literally mirrors the inside: both cannot function like usual, emotionally/ mentally speaking.
Photographer did a great job. I think those ladies felt some level of understanding and relief, and those who view this will easily understand, and those who've struggled, will easily feel seen or understood a bit better. They can identify with this photo, and those women.
A lot of pain can be felt, but this also holds a level of underlying comfort.
I hope they can speak about their issue, and adjust their thoughts on issues in life, and move on..
They deserve to move on and be joyful.
I hope this photo will be just a memory to them, a sentiment of how far they've come.
Massive applause to them for the courage to pose for this photo.
the anorexic girl is far worse off, where she is at the point as you see her body is struggling to stay alive and will shut down. working in healthcare you see all different things the chubby girl could have an eating disorder but could be a metabolic issue. the anorexic girl is in the red zone her body has consumed itself and will then shut organs down and pass away.
The picture depicts two eating disorders, yes. The sad thing is that the anorexic girl is the only one who's on the extreme.
The lady on the left isn't even the extreme anymore, but for some reason considered "healthy".
Like the ying and yang of eating-related fucked up.
This is going to be hard to masturbate to.

People over-eat as a way of dealing with emotional issues. They try to fill the void of something that's missing in life with food or they use food to deal with trauma and anxiety (Comfort food) and they become addicted to it.
I imagine anorexic people starve themselves due to emotional issues as well.
that picture really shows the result of the different disorders.
Sometimes it's difficult for people to find a balance. Our bad eating, or not eating habits can really get out of control and have an unhealthy result. I hope you find the will power to get on a healthy diet and get back on track.
Both are manageable if you know what your doing. I’ve seen plenty of people with disorders still making an effort to get into shape.
at the end of the day the biggest obstacle is yourself.
These are the same version of the same root problem: people pushing to much on themselves, hence they do nothing.
Instead do something, what is comfortable to you. I call it the 90% rule, 90% of what you can do.
A happy medium is needed. But long as you're happy, okay.
I would need insight in each case to get the true reasons behind if it lasts longer than let's say half a year.
Looks like a picture of people who need some help
the skeleton girl is just gross... I hope she is getting help
I don't like the skeleton lady
too spooky
Goes so much deeper than an eating disorder
Ughh weird.
