Should we share information on how to safely do drugs rather than telling people not to do them at all?

I believe that telling people “don’t do drugs! Drugs are bad!” Isn’t going to do anything. We’ve been telling kids that for as long as I remember and clearly it doesn’t work. So at this point I think we need to start discussing on how to SAFELY do drugs.
People overdose because they don’t know what they’re doing. They take too much or do it too often, they mix it with other medications, they don’t test the drugs they use, etc.

Not that we should be telling kids “YES, DO ALL THE DRUGS” but we should be sharing the information on the precautions to take IF they’re going to take them.

Should we share information on how to safely do drugs rather than telling people not to do them at all?
