Lifting vs cardio?

I do strength training to increase my vertical I'm 14 and I can dunk so I can jump pretty high but in a couple of years, I want to be postering people like JA or zion with my head at the rim which in my opinion is very achievable since I've only been in weights for a month and I can dunk so a couple of years and I should reach my goal.
I do a 50/50 mix of both.

It's hard for everyone but the point is that it makes you stronger.
I have a fast metabolism. No choice. Slow weight training for me. Will get short bursts in taekwondo here and there. But that is still more technical then aerobic.
liftinh... i've always hated runninh but i realize if there's a place that i have to go there's a goal place for example church i think i may like it.

I used to avoid lifting and concentrated on cardio but I was always getting some sort of injury. I found when I started lifting, doing squats etc I stopped getting injured
... I also got faster and had more endurance.
For overall fitness, cardio seems better for me, although some light weight lifting is also beneficial
Cardio for me but I also do weights and resistance training that’s specifically for football (soccer)
I train for strength, but cardio and two days of lifting should be fine. It’s not uncommon to feel week but if we look back we would see how far we have come.
I like doing both. I lift for the gains, and I fuck for the cardio.
People tell me I do too much cardio but i like it more than lifting these days. My old achy joints are cranky.
👀i do both initially i was a cardio only guy then to get muscular i did wheights now its doing wonders tbh.
Lifting.
You are not weak. You just prefer it more. Trust me ask a powerlifter to run 10 km at a decent speed and it will be hell for him. Is he weak? No, he just hates it.
Strength training. But i do cardio nowadays and i miss lifting.
If I must choose one, then it'd be strength training. But I play football everyday and that is the type of cardio/running I like the most!
It really depends what part of the body is under developed or needs work.
Lifting is a lot more fun for me to be honest. love playing soccer or going for a long bike ride for cardio!
Lifting hands down.. I find cardio boring lol
You can build and tone muscles with lighter weights. Free weights work for me still.
Cardio any day. Running and swimming.
I get both and more from sports... instead
I like strength training more.
I prefer cardio workouts.
