Do strength training that focuses on compound movements with a calorie surplus. I used to weigh the same as you but now weigh about 154lbs. All I use now is the T2 isotrainer doing resisted squat with shoulder raise, standing chest press, bicep curl to shoulder press and upright row. All self anchored.

In the following video he has attached the T2 isotrainer to a Dynometer to give you an idea of how much tension is being generated. Note that the stronger he gets (providing he puts the effort in) the more tension will be generated due to the force multipler.

Weight lifting will help you build muscle. Make sure you are eating a high protein diet and not over training.
Do compound exercises. Squats, military presses, pull ups, dips, burpees. and others that work more than one muscle group.
With Weight training and lots of protein, you’ll be buff in about 3 years.. cardio is awesome. Incorporate that too!

Gotta do both. You have to eat more calories and proteins to gain weight properly. You’ll have to do cardio if you want muscle definition. In fact, your strength training days will prove more beneficial if you start with 15-20 minutes of cardio. Keep in mind, you’ll have to maintain a certain level of diet & exercise if you want to maintain that look. It goes away pretty quickly if you’re not vigilant. The trick is to find healthy foods and activities you actually enjoy.
Weight lifting & nutrition is more important. You can always cut later if you've got too much bodyfat.
I think both are good, cardios good for your heart and weights make u look good
You would have to send me more photos of you flexing before I could properly determine your best gains strategy. As for now, cut down on sugar and sweeteners and drink lots of milk and eat lots of nuts like almonds.
You need both plus a proper diet. I do 1.5 hours of weight training 6 days a week and 30-45 mins of cardio 7 days a week. Plus have a strict diet.. for reference in 6'4 250 lbs with 12% boyfriend.
