I lost weight really fast because of exercise and a healthy diet, my family thought that I had an eating disorder but they were wrong at that point I didn't and it hurt that they wouldn't believe me. I did however develop an eating disorder when I started to put the weight back on...I was very secretive about it and it was 10 months before anybody realised, when they did I became extreamly defensive, it felt like everyone was ganging up on me and were preventing me from being happy. I'm sort of glad that they found out though because after that I got better, they helped me keep up a healthy regime so that I wasn't doing myself harm and even though I had a couple of relapses I'm much better now. Be sensitive if you do talk to her, what a lot of people don't realize is that people with eating disorders don't think that there is anything wrong with what they are doing, and can truelly hate themselves. Hope it all works out well.
