What Girls Said
Yes. Because good things take effort, and risk, very often. You can't get what you didn't work for. Being too passive is one of most peoples' biggest regrets, in retrospect. Decisions, and opportunities present themselves to us often. We don't know what will turn out to be pivotal in our lives.
I know all too well how embarrassing and sometimes demoralizing putting effort in and not having it be realized can be. I remember those things too, achingly, and they sting. But everything that was good (or most things, aside from just good fortune, and what just fell in your lap) did also take a similar risk. And if those pay out some times, work out, you will remember the effort, or cause-and-effect of your actions. It's a very slow build process, but I know of no shortcuts on this. Calculated risks, some payouts, will embolden you to risk again.
But in this case, the only thing at risk is your feeling that he might not like you, right? And that is not something that should prevent you from trying. Just chalk it up to fate then, not your own inadequacies. If he doesn't reciprocate, then it wasn't meant to be. (I'm not a big believer in fate, but it does come in handy sometimes, to either believe, or not believe in it. Takes some of the psychological onus off of you.)
Do u have any reason or information to give why u feel anxiour or nervous? Or u just randomly feel anxious about them thought u think something happened to them thats why u want to catchup w ur old friend?
Thats ok if u feel worried and concern about them tho. Also its not something bad if u want to keep in touch after long time lost contact right.. just tell them what u feel and make sure that they are safe tho so u could less anxious and nervous bout them
I just get anxiety when meeting people, I'm not sure why.
Ohh i gotchu! U want to meet ur old friend but u feel anxious bout them like thst?
Well I'm not sure if I want to catchup with him or not, I mean if I feel anxiety about it maybe I shouldn't or maybe I should, I don't know.
U could just text him tho
Why do you feel anxious and nervous? Whether you should or not depends on why
