Is it fine to stop taking birth control pills and start again later?

Hello,

Me and my husband got married almost 3 weeks ago. It has been almost one month I started taking the birth control pills but after the end of the 21 days I am thinking to stop taking them for a while. Before to have a house with my husband we have to live 1 and half year separetely because of some paper work (we don't live in the same country), so the next time I will meet him is in like 3 months, is it fine for me to stop the birth control pills and start them again after 2 and half or 3 months?

Yes, you can. Considering that you have only been on them for 21 days. Stranger things have happened so it you are intimate and don't want a tax deduction just yet, you to use a another form of birth control.

I'm not sure. I'm sure there are women on here who know. Nevertheless, for something like this, you NEED to talk to a doctor. There might be other considerations for YOUR PARTICULAR situation, that don't apply to 'most people'. I'm sure you'll get answers here, but you really should talk to your doctor or even a pharmacist. 🙂

that won't cause any issues at all. you could look into longer forms of birth control so you don't need to take pills everyday

Talk to your doctor. That is really hard on your body though. I would just stick with it. Three months is nothing in the grand scheme of things.
