Are strech marks more visible when your cold or stressed?

Maybe cold 🤔🧐 I seen a lot of pregnant woman apply some kind of butter/ balm on their tummies during pregnancy and after to help with stretch marks.

Not sure what the purpose was,

BUT

maybe you can keep your skin moisturized? Maybe it’s more noticeable and prone to worsen when the skin is dry and unable to stretch without strain.

Maybe the strain is what makes the tissue tears look visible- like a black and blue?

Really all theory on this, though.

I seen one lady turn all her stretch marks into a series of tattoos of some animal pattern and she looked kinda cool! Maybe I’ll link it, if I find it.

More noticeable if your skin is dry. Try a nice oil and apply lotion over that and your skin will look much more plump and less scar tissue-ish

Mine blend in with my skin since I'm white so its not much of an issue. Theyre still noticeable but barely. I dont know if the cold or being stressed makes them more visible. I only know they start red then fade over time.

I have never noticed this on my wife but then I confess I also don't pay a huge amount of attention to them.
