While it's not possible to completely stop caring about things, there are several strategies you can try to manage your anxiety and overthinking:- Practice mindfulness: Focus on the present moment and let go of thoughts about the past or future.
- Exercise regularly: Physical activity can help reduce stress and anxiety.
- Challenge negative thoughts: Question the evidence and logic behind them, and try to find a more positive perspective.
- Connect with others: Talking to friends or family can help you feel more supported and reduce feelings of isolation.
- Try relaxation techniques: Deep breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, and visualization can help you relax and reduce stress.
- Keep a journal: Writing down your thoughts and feelings can help you process them and make them less overwhelming.
Remember that seeking help from a therapist is a strength and not a weakness. If you don't have access to a therapist, you can try online counseling services or self-help resources.

I have a friend that likes to say, "I live my life by 2 rules, 1. I don't worry about the small things in life" and 2. Everything in life is small". I used to be a bit like you till I decided to adopt his philosophy, and it's served me pretty well over the years. I used to worry so much I'd give myself stomach aches. But when you realize how much in life simply is NOT in your control you learn to just stop worrying. Control the controllables in life. And just forget the rest.
I think I have something similar, I don't know how to get rid of it but it's gotten better as I got closer to God, I used to walk around with a gun in my hoodie and the gun was always in my hand in my hoodie so it was effecting me a lot but since I put my trust in God I still carry my gun but sometimes I don't even chamber it so it's a lot better now, let's be honest we always guide ourselves to a dead end somehow.
