A good Sweaty workout or a therapist? What would be your choice?

I don't do therapy, I enjoy peace and quiet, time with my wife and kids. Look back at my military service and my time I sacrifice, knowing it's worth it now. I know it helps people, so people need to do what works for them. If it is a quiet place, a gym, a therapist, or god, everyone need their own healing
Depends on the issue. Therapists are good sounding boards reflecting yourself back on you. But sweaty workouts can be GREAT for mood change, breaking patterns, and of course, amazing sex!
Thank you for MHO!
if you mean like RIGHT NOW then i'm choosing a good sweaty workout bc therapists are expensive. although if it were a free session, then i'm choosing my therapist that i already go to
I would take the good workout. The few shrinks I saw where worse off then myself.

If it's a massage therapist, I can help there: been an MT off 30 years. Psychotherapy I leave to my wife who has been doing that for 20 years.
A LOT of cheap slutty women choose a "great sweaty workout" rather than seeking the therapist they SHOULD be seeing to deal with their sense of inferiority, low self-esteem, low self-respect, etc and the other reasons WHY they sleep around like a prostitute. A very typical - these women seeking "love" with men that couldn't careless - scenario.
.
It really depends on the level of stress.
I mean if one is thinking about harm, depression and anxiety maybe a therapist is more ideal then the gym.
gym serves a great space to let out a day’s frustration and anger.
good sweaty workout over a shrink any time. Why pay someone about my issues? I have free therapists at Gag
Why not both?
Their uses are totally different. I'd go to a therapist to work through my issues.
I'd go to a gym to stay active and healthy.
One is about a healthy mind and the other about a healthy body.
If you need therapy then therapy is the right choice. Working out instead of sorting out your mental health issues is just burying your issue deeper down.
Workout. I’ve been a part time therapist and it’s mentally draining
Therapist. I'd rather be physically weak and happy than muscular and suicidal, as I have experienced the former before.
i think therapy leaves people miserable, if therapists fixed your problems they would be out of money
@007kingifrit the same way gyms want you to be weak so that you keep coming back?
that makes no sense as muscle needs to be maintained, you're so uneducated lol
@007kingifrit good mental health also requires maintenance
not with a therapist it doesn't... you should have that on your own
@007kingifrit you should have strong muscles on your own too. What happened to doing calisthenics at home?
working out requires equipment... these are not the same thing
You need equipment to do a push-up?
Good sweaty workout for sure. Costs a lot less money.
if there's one thinh i would wannq fight for it is that i'm againsy of people beinh put in an institution or house monitorinh by therapists
Therapy. To me, mental health is more of a priority than a physical workout.
Therapy! You shouldn't suppress stuff that you probably need to work on with working out.
Balling up my emotions and hope it never comes out ✅
I do both. I go for a run or a swim and have a therapist
A good sweaty workout, although I've never been to a therapist.
How about a sweaty workout WITH a therapist? LOL...
The workout, it's at least fulfill a purpose. I don't need a therapist.
Workout. I dont want to relive the past by talking about it. Mentally its taxing on the body.
use the right tool for the job. there's stuff that can be fixed by sweaty workout. and there's stuff that needs a therapist.
Neither because I don’t like to listen to other people’s problems, have enough of my own.
