Yes, you are supposed to have a baseline mammogram at 35. It will be the mammogram to which all others will be compared to. My last mammogram last year they used 36 pounds of pressure to flatten out the breasts.

I used to get them in my 30's but I stopped getting them because I believe all that radiation every single tear directly on my breast and squishing them till they are flat - could cause breast cancer.
My friend got her mamograms every year for 30 years and she got breast cancer twice! Then had both breast removed.
I won't lie, it is a painful procedure. Not severely painful, but very unpleasant.

My wife has. Numerous times. The last one in August 2021 wasn't so good. She ended up getting a biopsy and then a DMX for DCIS Stage 0. We weren't going to fuck around; my wife's boobs tried to kill her.

I have not. I do check myself for lumps pretty regularly but I have not had any issues. And I’m still young enough that I’m not all that high risk just yet.
