    What's the context?

I've had injures that required 2 weeks rest. Surgeries that require 3.

I've also had breaks of a year before returning.

It doesn't really matter how long you're away. Just that you return smart, without injuring yourself, and aim for consistency without injury.

Focus on work for now - can't go to the gym if you can't pay gym membership.

Look up body weight stuff to do at home if you crave the gym. Even 30 mins a few times a week can keep you from backsliding and make your return when work eases faster.

It's ok to focus on things outside the gym on occasion.

I go to the gym every day, except on Sundays. I have never taken a 2 week break from working out, except when covid happened. It's better to go on runs if you don't want to go to the gym every day.

It depends on what you're trying to do and it depends on how far you fudged eating wise and what kind of liquid did you have if you can't make it to the gym go for a walk at a fast face for 30 minutes 30 minutes a day for 30 days you will not believe how tone you will get

It's good. No you will not turn into this:

If you're really beating up your balls in the gym most of the time then a good fucking break will benefit you.

As long as you are staying active other ways, a two week period away from the gym is no biggie.

I'm 3 years off the gym... i really should go again. but no, it's not too long.
the only advice I can give is, to make sure it doesn't become a habit, like mine.

Kinda. Not a big deal but overall its good to be in some kind of exercise routine every day whether it's just a walk or the gym

Yes, it is as your body grows accustomed to something and if you take a break of two weeks it just undoes the effort the body took to get in that regime

That's enough time to lose all progress that it took years to make, ask me how I know
