Have you ever been to rehab?

Having addicts in my family I have a pretty low opinion of them in general. They have every excuse imaginable to keep using. But nonetheless I'm curious did it help? And how was the experience?

no, but i know that it helped for some people, so its possible to work, howeve i dont think you should ever trust an addict not using cause im addicted to some things (not drugs, nothing that major) and i know you should never really trust me, but you can if they haven't doe it in ages like 5y

yeah it sucks especially if you didn't want to be there. it never helped me because it didn't address the real problem and i also never wanted the help either

I think it helps them get sober again, but the ability to handling fighting the addiction afterwards depends on the person I've never went, but I've had a lot of family members go there.

Only as a visitor. The person I know that went didn't make any lasting changes.
