AND WHY?

AND WHY?
I lost 60 pounds this past year because I developed diabetes and didn't know it at first, and what sucks is I wasn't even overweight to begin with, and now I'm starting to look like a stick figure. In the past, people used to think I was anorexic. I hope I don't get that bad again.
My anxiety has been horribly bad also, so that could be why I haven't been eating much. I won't eat unless my blood sugar is low, or I start to feel sick. It's probably my environment too. I'm not exactly in a safe place right now. It's like the slums Vs. the ghetto here.
Foods really expensive too, so that doesn't help. My weight has been dropping like crazy!
I've basically been at maintenance all year this year if you average my weight. My weight fluctuates easily depending on how active I am so I just adjust my eating so that I don't become overweight. Rn I'm lean enough to see my abs but not lean enough so not see a bit of love handles. So I probably look around the 15% bodyfat range when I'm not bloated. Which is the range I want to be in because I'm trying to not eat in a deficit due to having to recover from an injury & current workouts.
Both.. I lost like 40 pounds because I was depressed and like on a midlife crises for a few months but then I gained it back because I went to live with my mom who just cooks junk food and always buys cupcakes and stuff. She tends to offer things even when I don't want it.. so now I have to lose it again, which is annoying lol
Lost, because I have only been eating once a day.

Bit of both, losing fat and gaining muscle.
My pants are looser now and slim fit shirts fit to my shape better and I'm kinda getting the V taper shape.
Still got quite a way to go before I look like my body goals
About the same. I'd like to lose about 5 pounds though, in order to get back my 6-pack abs... LOL
You can do that with water fasting
Losing.
golo dot com.
plus intermittent fasting and lifting weights and rowing.
no starches, almost no sugar, veggies and lean meat:
So that means you don’t go to the buffet?
I’ve gained about 5lbs of muscle over the past year. There has been a lot of ups and downs as I am a hard gainer. As others have said consistency is key; both for diet and exercise. Diet is probably most important though.
Lost. Intermittent fasting, healthy fairly clean eating and working out. Consistency is key. Congratulations to anyone else that's killing it this year.
2022 I lost 47lbs but it was due to early stage cancer but after successful surgery my weight leveled off and to start 2023 I gained 20 lbs at the end of March but lost 30 lbs as of today and very healthy
I lost fat and gained muscle. So I became leaner but gained some weight.
I lost weith then I put it all back on. Now I am trying to lose it again/ I am down about 8 pounds so far.
Probably have gained a few lbs, but usually try to stay at my usual 140-145 lbs.
I've lost. I have a lot of old sports injuries and started yoga about a year ago. I want to lose more but my girlfriend likes me a bit chubby.
I lost 60 pounds over the winter. I'm pretty lean now and really like it. It was deliberate. I'm pushing 50 and the extra weight was hard to carry around. So I decided to get lean. Been great so far.
Lost, overall, but not as much as I would like.
Mostly gained weight but not that much due to working out again. But I also gained belly fat something I hate.
I gained some extra pounds because I'm a bit lazy
I'm trying to lose them by home training
I've put on muscle, I've been lifting a little more to supplement my BJJ.
Definitely gained since covid started. Gyms shut down, and then because I didn't feel like working out at home, I really lost all motivation at that point, even now that they're opened back up
My wife likes to bake and is a good cook, winter weight is coming off now
