I only got one tooth out and was awake. The dentist took it out fast in 15 minutes and felt nothing. But now as I’m home I now feel the pain and left side of my mouth is swollen and numb.

what day can I begin eating normal again? The day after? Or until one week?

I had four teeth taken out a month ago now, including two wisdom teeth. For like over a week, I ate nothing but pudding, apple sauce, and instant mashed potatoes. They should have given you a paper saying what you can and cannot eat.

Paper they gave me:

You're not meant to chew, plus food particles can get in the holes causing a greater risk of infection. Blood clots form naturally, and if you're not careful rinsing cause yourself dry socket if it comes out.

You shouldn't have as long a recovery time like I had since you only had one tooth out.
