I had 4 teeth extracted a week ago, 2 of which were wisdom teeth. I was told to eat soft foods for a week and to avoid drinking soda, coffee or anything else with caffeine and avoid hot drinks. It's been a week now and was wondering if there are any dentist on her that can give me an answer.
Here's what I'd recommend based on having some teeth pulled before:
- After a week you should be mostly healed up, but still take it easy with hard/crunchy foods that could put pressure on the extraction sites.
- Soft foods like soups, yogurt, scrambled eggs, oatmeal are still your best bet. Stuff you can easily mush up with your tongue and swallow without much chewing.
- As for drinks, room temp or slightly warm liquids should be okay. I'd avoid super hot or cold stuff which could irritate where the teeth were.
- Water is always good to stay hydrated. Juices, sports drinks, milk are probably fine too since they won't have carbonation bubbles.
- Coffee and soda may still be a bit much at this point with the acidity and bubbles. Give it another few days to fully heal before trying those.
- Ice cream is also a no go - the cold could bother it.
- If it still feels tender at all, stick with softer options. But if it feels totally fine, some non-crunchy solids like pasta should be alright.
- And definitely don't try to smoke weed through a pipe or bong yet haha, wait til it's 100%.
Hope this helps man! Always better to take the safe route with healing extractions.

Hot soup, Chinese soup, all that stuff wonton
A week after, you should be healed enough to eat almost everything. I would still refrain from vety hot food, hard (like nuts) and too salty/spicy. But the rest should go without any problem
