I keep finding out that so many people don't know what it is... like what type of momma did you even have if they never taught you to do this when your sick...

Well the brat diet is a word that uses English letters and a lot of people were raised with non English speaking parents who don't know what BRAT stands for. I did not know what the BRAT diet was until my 20s when I got the stomach flu and was googling foods to eat.

I always knew it as Beans, Applesauce, Rice, and Toast. Nice plain, bland foods for when you're not feeling well.
