I'm trying to lose 8kg by December or week before Christmas.
I do about 5k steps in my 1 hour lunch break & I walk home which is another 5k steps.
Can you do lose 8kg by just walking by December?

You can do a marathon every day and not lose weight if you're eating more than you're burning off. 3500cal for a pound of fat. You're looking at 17.6lbs. That's a LOT of weight. 61,000 calories worth of deficit to get that weight off.
90 days left, that's 685 calories per day less than what you're burning. I'm pretty willing to go out on a limb and say you're not exactly burning off tons of calories in day to day life, now, so 685 is going to be a big lifestyle change as far as activity level goes if you want to realistically expect to get there.
you can lose 8kg without doing any exercise. just remember. 1kg of body fat equals 7000 calories. so calculate the calories you need a day and if you eat 7000 calories less than you need in a week, you will lose 1 kg of fat. it really is that simple. plus it is realistic to eat 1000 calories less than you need in a day. tho you should not aim at losing a lot more than that in a week, cause that risks your health.
whether you increase the calories you need by workout or decrease the calories you intake doesn't matter. tho working calories off is physically way harder than just eating less.
The exercise alone won’t lose 8kg if your diet isn’t helping your goal. If you’re hoping to lose weight, you need to make sure that you’re burning a lot of the calories that you’re taking in. Track your calories each day, and you can download exercise apps to see how many calories you’re burning with 10k steps a day. Decrease your calorie intake if you’re not burning enough.
Loosing weight is 90 % nutrition and 10% activity. So go for a consistent nutrition plan just below your BMR x activity level

I mean if u watch what u eat and stay committed to 10k steps a day. It is highly possible u can lose weight I'm around 3 months
Depends on diet. It's a balance between exercise and diet
Calorie deficit is the only way to lose weight other than surgery. I don't know how adults don't know this.
That's just over four months away, so yes, I think its possible.
It may be possible.
Not gonna happen
