Exercise as much as you can , Sun as much as you can ,
Avoid anti depressants , and alcohol , this stuff just pushes you down the slippery slope , see if you can try a new activity.
Most importantly always recognise that you are loved and needed , its a case of just working though , day by day to a better eventual result , if you can see a phycologist , one that you can bond with , just remember it needs to be gradual , otherwise the ups and downs are too great.

I heard someone needed the cure to depression
Figure out what in your life that you dont like. Force yourself to live healthy. See your body as someone elses that you love. And if you still are depressed after that get your hormones checked
Get sunlight and vitamin D and K, get exercise, eat well. Try to think positively and be grateful. Sometimes you need professional help if it's too rough. Then you can handle it on your own.

Time. Eventually your brain gets tired of it, so you either get yourself out of it or you subtly do it without realizing. However, that tends to take a long time.
It is not a definite answer, but it's my opinion for most people. For some it's not that simple.Constructive thought & action. Instead of focusing on issues alone. Focus on solving the issues. Helps me.
