I would say only eggs and salad could not be efficient. You probably can lose some weight this way, but chances are high that your hair won't be so shiny anymore, your skin could get greyer and not clean anymore, and your nails can be worse.
I would vote for different sources of the protein. Eggs are good, but exchange them with chicken, fish, or legumes.
Also, salats should be different. Vegetables deliver fibre, micro- and microelements, so you have to consciously plan what you eat to keep a balanced intake of all needed stuff counted in a week's time. You should also add nuts and seeds as they deliver rare elements required for healthy metabolism.

Depends on how many eggs, and also how many calories you're burning during the day. If it's a staycation and each meal is 4 eggs with a cobb salad, not so much. Say 1-2 eggs/day and you're moving around a lot, like 30 minutes or more a day, sure. You'll also be real uncomfortable at first, like a vacation might not be the best time to start.
If you eat in a deficit, you'll lose weight regardless of what you eat.
If your calorie intake is less than your expenditure. Proteins from meats are still a source of calories as well as amino acids.
