***For Any Reason. xxoo
No, and when you asked that question these scripture came to mind. It also highlights the power and importance of being in the Word daily...
Proverbs 3:24
''24 When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.''
Psalm 4:8
''8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.''
You deserve MHO.
@Titanic1912 I am Giving YOU THAT. xxoo
No, I always appreciate the opportunity to go to sleep
Not anymore. The first time I projected I was around four or five. Now I know how to do it, and I do NOT do it. The books I read said not to open that door, but I didn't listen. Now I know better.
Only when my dreams go wild... lol
Happens sometimes that I avoid sleeping because dealing with my dreams is harder than with sleep deprivation :D
lol :D shortcuts :D

Well... I guess I am wary of nightmares that might make my heart stop in my sleep, so I tend to watch/read wholesome stories before going to sleep. However, this tendency is weakening by the day. At this point, if I could die in my sleep the night after receiving the Sacrament of Penance (given that it happened in the evening, otherwise I might not be crystal clear anymore, as most interactions with people around me make me sin with wrath), it might just be the best present I could receive this Christmas. Could be better if I saved someone else's lfe in the process of dying while being crystal clear, but that's a tough order.
Well... I guess I'm kind of anxious about dying unprepared, but other than that... I'm just tired of all this. My life might seem pretty much on track due to a certain level of financial stability, but if it could be more hollow than it already is, I certainly don't want to know this feeling. As of now, I'm alive and with no purpose, and if I were to find one for myself... I'd probably pass on that opportunity, given the traces of humanity I still retain. I guess I could go for "set a happy family", but at this point it seems so impossible to achieve that I think it's just going to hurt me more, and I've come to value my sanity, or at least what's left of it.
It's oddly calming to receive such kind words, even online. I guess I'll just grit my teeth (hopefully not too hard or I might actually break them). As for the change, however... There is only one thing to be hellbent on (or should I say "heavenbent" instead?), and I wish it depended solely on me. Though I guess it's this hard for a reason. If I could achieve this, I would actually become the happiesr person on this planet and I would not need anything more. It's the final piece, so I guess if it was too easy, it would make no sense. But to think I managed to get the "stable and reasonable income" before this particular one... Thank You again for Your kind words and may God Almighty bless You for Your kindness. I will do my best to at least celebrate the memory of Our Lord Jesus Christ's coming properly (though I'd really welcome His second coming during the celebrations, to be honest).
Right there with you bro, and it’s ten fold being a man. There aren’t people texting my phone or calling it’s just nothingness. I have many projects that keep me busy but I know what you mean by a family. I pray that God would give me a woman to live me as much as I love her because I do t think I e ever truly been loved or they wouldn’t have left so easily.
However, I realize my happiness should not depend on another human being. You can’t trust people they are like door knobs. They easily turn on you. And until you fix whatever is going inside a woman or family won’t make you happy for long and then you will drag them down as well. Everyone has a gift or talent. Some have more than one. So I enjoy writing songs playing instruments, painting cars or pictures. Stay away from negative news and people and most importantly volunteer at the church. Your world will open up if you just get out there.
@Whitewulf
The problem is, our happiness will always depend on other human beings. Humans live in packs. While I do believe we are more than simple animals, if we were to be reduced to animals, we are social animals. We are fundamentally empathetic, if we see that someone else is suffering, we can't really stay happy ourselves. MGTOW (or WGTOW, I believe I might know a few women like this) is certainly a way, but it's a highly destructive one. Ultimately, it means the collapse of civilization as we know it, and while there is some hope of having it rebuilt in a better way, if we stay hateful after the collapse, we're just going to begin another iteration of the loop of hatred. And to be honest, I don't think it's ten-fold worse if You're a man. It's ten-fold worse if You're a decent human being. Imagine a Woman of Goodwill these days. All She wants is to set up a happy family, just like we do, and to be a Person of Goodwill to anyone in need of any kind of support. Is She going to get Her happy family? No, She is most likely not. You and me will both reject Her ourselves out of deep-roooted, but generally justified mistrust (even though in reality, we've got the very exact same goals), and She will not even know what She did wrong (as She did nothing wrong Herself). And Shw will be hurt. She might even become another hateful woman out there in the end due to a simple misunderstanding and a failure to trust each other. The common trust has been broken quite a long time ago and rebuilding it will take sacrifice. Real, painful, maybe even bloody sacrifice.
I do agree that having something to take Your mind off all that is beneficial (lately, it's been mostly Minecraft and anime for me - I guess I really cherrish that new tree they added in Minecraft recently). However, in the end, we will both have to take the risk knowing full well it might kill us. It's not about fixing the women or fixing the men, it's about fixing the societal rules of engagement. It's about rebuilding the trust. It's about refusing to hurt each other for someone else's benefit or simply for the sake of it.
Lastly, please accept my most sincere compassion for having no friends. I mean... I do have some, even if all the purpose in my life I take from that fact is dying for Their protection (I'm also the negative person among Them, so I guess I'd make them two favors at once).
If You want, You can always message me and I hope I will be able to support You.

Yes, there have been moments when my worry was so intense that I dared not go to sleep for fear that I would not wake up. However, I discovered that aromatherapy lavender pillow mist greatly assisted me; thus, if you haven't tried it yet, get some for yourself. Warmest regards
only during the hottest months of Texas summers... afraid that power might shut down and the AC will go off...

I never feel scared to go to sleep. I usually can’t wait to go to sleep. Sometimes I just want to go to sleep and skip supper, but I have to eat sometime. I usually take an afternoon nap just relax in my bed and watch some YouTube or Disney+. I’ve never been scared to go to sleep. I pray that God will protect my dreams and make them sweet and beautiful.
I stayed awake for 72 hours after I woke up from a coma state because I'd had hallucinations through it that were so real I was scared I wasn't going to come back out.
That was in 2020. Who knew being chased by a hallucination that was trying to kill you would be preferable to today's political and social bullshit...
I went through this for a small period of time. Kinda like ptsd. ..
I think it's more common than you think. Research studies show that for your average Monday to Friday 9-5 workers are most prone to a heart attack after going to bed on a Sunday night/ Early AM hours Monday morning. On another note anxiety can be very bebillatating as well especially from racing thoughts
No.
I did have bad insomnia when i was a teen but it came to an end around age 21 or 22 and now i fall asleep very quickly.
No, I'm more scared of what happens when I'm awake.
Yes, due to my emetophobia. I get scared to go to sleep as I’m afraid I’ll wake up in the night and be sick.
@sunflower00 when was the last time you were sick?
Yes when I’m very dizzy it’s worse lying down and I can feel like I’m drowning when falling sleep
Have you seen too much Nightmare on Elm Street, by any chance? 😂
I do not fear going to sleep. Kenny Rogers said that "And the best that you can hope for
Is to die in your sleep"
Thankfully, no. I look forward to sleep every night. 💤
No not at all. Sometimes my little sister is that's when she sleeps with me.
Yes, sometimes i dont want to gibe my mind the option to remind me of past trauma
Not lately but yes on & off I’ve had issues where I hated to dream so it was hard for me to get to sleep & Then my mind races all night and I’m stuffed by the time it’s morning!
No. If I die, the presence of the Lord awaits. Or if my non-believing friends are correct, nothing. Either way, what is to fear?
Nope. I have trouble sleeping when I’m restless.
That’s awful, when was the last time you were sick?
Yeah, when I was a little kid. I used to sleepwalk and have a lot of nightmares
Only when there’s critters in the room and I have to find them before I can go to sleep
Maybe one of us has to stay up and be the look out 😊
Yes I do now that am single I hate sleeping I feel died
It's okay Paris how have you been?
Happy to hear I may be working this holiday
On occasion, moreso if I've just watched somethign scary
Only once, I was in the hospital and I had drug induced sleep apnea.
No never I love to sleep. Are you afraid to go to sleep and if so why
Yes mental health issues and some very unpleasant dreams are to blame
Sleep is a welcome addition to my day :-).
Not until recently. But not scared by much though.
No. Sleep is good for the heart, brain, and levels of stress are completely calm during sleep period that raises the melatonin which is the sleep hormone to its job to keep the body healthy.
Maybe a couple times when I was a kid.
Sleeping with nothing on my conscience
Not "scared", I just suck at sleeping.
Normally Id agree...
Yeah, it happens every now and than
Yes but only because I'm worried about intruders in the night invading my house.
Nope. I sleep too much. lol
