I never wanted to eat salads a lot.
+1 yThere is a difference between being fit and being healthy.
Want to lose weight in an unhealthy way? Eat salads.
Want to build muscle in the gym in an unhealthy way? Train, eat excessive calories and use drugs.
Want to build muscle, lose fat in a healthy way? Train hard, eat 1.2 x your body weight in kgs (minimum) of protein, eat carbs and eat fats.
Put your food on a scale and eat like you usually eat for a week. Gained weight? Reduce the calories. Repeat. Once you mantained weight, reduce by 500 calories and you will lose weight.
Weight your food, and use apps to track your calories and macros.
Been 2 years on that life. Went i want to be leaner, i reduce, when i want to build more muscle and gain weight i eat more.
Its a journey, so enjoy it.
Salads are for snails 🙃

Do I NEED to get muscular to get a girlfriend or it mainly pertains to hot girlfriends/exercise rats? I dont mind if my girlfriend is average or below (just not below a 3) and overweight (just not 350 or more).

Because while vegetables won't help you build muscle they do help your body in other ways such as overall health.

If I dont mind if my girlfriend is not good looking do I need to workout or that is only for guys that want hot girlfriends?

But is it a big necessity to get a girlfriend if I dont mind if she is average or whatever?
- +1 y
The guys that exaggerate it mostly want above average girlfriends or gym rat girlfriends huh?
+1 yYou don’t necessarily have to eat just salads, you just have to eat cleaner and protein rich foods. You won’t make any gains/lose fat without diet changes.

+1 yYou build muscle when you work your muscles. Technically, you work your muscles and then on the "off-days", your body takes amino acids, creates protein molecules, and rebuilds your muscle cells to meet the new demands put upon them. That's why it is important to rotate body areas being worked (stressed): the muscle is built up during the downtime!
When your body is building new muscle, it is critical that "complete protein" (all required amino acids) is available to the body at any given time. Meats, milk and eggs have complete protein, that is, they each have all the amino acids required to build protein molecules for cells. Beans, grains, grasses (rice), legumes and nuts have partial protein. But, if you pair- for example- beans in a corn tortilla, or with rice, then- combined- you DO have all the amino acids available to make proteins and build muscle mass. Many recipes call for these paired sources, so that the result is a dish with complete protein without going with meats all the time, so you do have some diet variety available in your meal plans.
Now, your question just becomes a definitional one. What do you consider "healthy" eating? If all the amino acids are there at the same time, then muscle can be rebuilt, regardless of the source.

The diet needs to be high in protein , and it needs to be very low in processed carbohydrates ( note I say processed ) , so you need to be the correct weight when you start , load the proteins , if you dont like Salad and vegetables then get to like them , its very easy , even if you need to force them down in the beginning , it will not take long.
Healthy is not just about longevity , its about passing every health milestone while your above ground , and of course what will that lead to ( barring an accident , or horrendous genes ) = Longevity. You need to be committed to your cardio and steps also , dont leave this part out.
So , start by cutting out all processed food , each naturally , load the proteins , Salad , and vegetables , and from there its about pushing some serious weight over time , and building , pure focus on this regime , things will happen far quicker with a great diet and will be vastly more beneficial.
I draw your attention to Dr Stein Edberg - You tube , holistic doctor .
Of course ALL forms of fast food , processed sugars , processed carbohydrates stops today , after that , its just consistent , consistent , consistent.
Good Luck , it will take a lot of commitment.
00 Reply1.6K opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. I went from fat & weak to fit & lean in the past 6months & I've probably eaten like 2 salads. But as cheat meals though.
Because if I'm gonna eat a salad, you better believe I'm drenching that bitch in gallons of ranch. Like if I'm not feeling regret by the time I finish, I know I didn't use enough ranch.

+1 yYou can eat like crap and still become very muscular. If you really want to min-max, then you need to have a good diet. But you can go a very long way with a crappy diet.
You should have a good diet for other reasons though - like living a long time. Do it for your health, not because you want to become muscular.

+1 y2 things.
1. You need to consume enough protein.
2. You need to consume enough total calories.
If your protein intake and total calories aren’t sufficient, you won’t put on muscle, no matter how hard you train.03 Reply- +1 y

If becoming MUSCULAR is your goal, then you would need the 2 things I mentioned, combined with adequate exercise and rest.
If getting a GIRLFRIEND is your goal, then no. It’s not necessary.
What’s necessary for women is basically that you’re clean/hygienic and that you’re healthy. (You take care of yourself.)
After that, it’s mainly going to be things like personality, confidence, and charisma — developing your emotional intelligence and social skills.
Being muscular can help. But it’s not critical, even if you want a “hot” girlfriend. - +1 y
If you want a girl that’s into fitness though, then you’d probably want to be fit yourself though.
Just like if you want a girl that loves books, it would help if you’re an avid reader yourself.
Common interests are useful.
But, emotional intelligence, confidence, and charisma, are even more important and will carry over to ANY relationship you want to pursue.

+1 yWell nobody is gaining muscle eating salads. Protein and carbs are gonna build muscle, so yeah you could be eating unhealthy as long as you’re still getting enough protein. Gaining muscle and staying lean is another story

+1 yAll you have to do to gain muscle is eat plenty of meat and dairy so that you have enough protein, and eat plenty of food. You don't have to "eat clean".

00 ReplyI don’t think it’s a clear cut answer. It depends on other factors like genetics and age. Younger people without a genetic predisposition can definitely do it without eating healthy. I’m not advocating for it or support it but it’s true.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yYou just need heavy metals and protein in your diet plus a healthy amount of minerals and vitamins. Also helps if you are even or calorie positive as opposed to a calorie deficit. Within reason of course.
00 Reply4.9K opinions shared on Health & Fitness topic. You really do need a high protein diet to be successful. You will get results without it but to maximize your effort a good diet is key.

+1 yEating salad will not help you gain muscle. That would be more for someone trying to lose weight. To gain muscle mass, you need a good balance of lean protein, fats, and carbohydrates. Eat stuff like chicken, fish, eggs , beans, and rice

If not veggies what about fruit smoothies?

My friend tells me for so long that I should work out to get a girlfriend but I dont think I need to, even though that would help. I think you NEED to or should work out when it comes to romantic relationships if you really want an above average looking girlfriend.
- +1 y
Me I dont mind a good looking girlfriend, an average looking girlfriend, all the way down to a three looking girlfriend. Also dont mind if she is overweight just not like 400 pounds or more. Do you think he is exaggerating and it really just refers to if I really wanted a hot girlfriend?
- +1 y
Your friend isn’t wrong but isn’t right either.
If your friend and yourself are trying to get a really hot girlfriend then yes taking care of your appearance is needed. But then again just generally taking care of yourself is appealing to women anyway (whether you go to gym or not).
Any girl YOU choose to be with will be with you
for who you are and she’s be content with that. Try to find that girl for you
- +1 y
If I dont mind an average looking or below average looking girlfriend, or fat girlfriend, etc. by looking at my pic, do you think I NEED to workout or no? Lets say I leave everything the way I am now with looks. My friend is real and says Im a 4, and Im glad he is real, you dont have to real with me for that when it comes to that but please at least for sure be real with everything else.
- +1 y
Also I think he is focusing on the gym with helping get a girlfriend all his life so far, all but one girlfriend he had were above average. He tells me how he regrets the one
girl as a girlfriend that was not above average and won't make the mistake again. He is a really a good looking guy. But I am different when it comes to romantic relationships when it comes to looks. She doesn't have to be above average. - +1 y
Also Im "5,7" height.
- +1 y
I am not going to get my feelings hurt. Like I told you I wasn't hurt when my friend told me I am a 4. You dont have to rate me if you dont want to, but can you at least tell me for sure when it comes to average, below average looking, overweight women, etc in romantic relationships do I need to work out or no? Look at my pic.
- +1 y
If your confused to make it simple, do I need to workout if it is no big deal if my romantic partner is not above average?
- +1 y
My goodness, it appears you have always been scared to tell the truth. Too many people have always been chicken. I am glad at least the one friend I told you about, is not scared to tell the truth like you. I just always wanted more opinions from people but most people have always been chicken like you to tell the truth. At least he is not a chicken. I just want more opinions.
- +1 y
You always needed guts.
- +1 y
You have always been a chicken.

Ok then.
- +1 y
The least of your problem is gym it’s your attitude and lack of confidence. Your 8 messages alone shows that you need reassurance constantly because you ain’t happy with yourself (whatever that reason is). Work on your inner self and the outer self will be the least of your problems
- +1 y
If it wasn't for those messages you would be scared to admit my looks.
- +1 y
At least other people have balls to admit the situation. I have other people admit here and elsewhere stuff when it comes to certain womens looks. And they also admit my look range, you have always been scared.
- +1 y
I speak truth.
- +1 y
You dont have balls to admit what you think of my looks, which is funny.
- +1 y
You didn't have the balls to say what you think of my looks and if I can get an average or below , fat, etc girlfriend without working out before you got at me and you still dont have balls and never wiol.
