How many pounds will I lose if I go 7 days without food?

The stories I heard of people fasting for 7 days, 1 year even, but that was a morbidly obese person. He had so much fat on his body, he could go 1 year without food, but that doesn't mean he didn't drink anything. He drank tea, don't know if any of it had caffeine or sugar.

I've never done that kind of fasting, but as breakfast is breaking the fast, I recommend eating a big breakfast medium lunch and NO SUPPER!!! I'm vegan, that's why I lost all the weight I'm ever going to lose.

All you need is a caloric deficit

If you go to a say 1000 calorie deficit then in 7 days you'll burn 7000 calories

Since one pound of fat is 3500 calories, I'd say almost 2 pounds you'll lose

It's more effective to reduce slowly calorie intake than not to eat anything. Yo-yo effect will only occur if don't eat a week long. Lack of salt is a problem too, your body needs salt.

Usually ketosis kicks in after 12-16 hours without food and healthy liver starts to produce glucose from fat tissue. That's why humans can survive a while without food.

@FreyaRed I have low blood sugar levels. Most likely didn't work for me because I felt lightheaded and ill most of them time

Hmmm🤔. Fasting is also detoxing the body and then you were using up energy working, going to school etc...

It's the same with starting the whole food plant based diet, those who are normal get sick for about 3days (brother and mom), dad got sick for 1 week and I got sick for about 2.5 weeks. It's like the sun would never rise again for me, but that's only because I did things wrong, same as yourself.

Some can't quit all the bad food cold turkey, some die from doing it as the body is detoxing soo much, the body can't handle it. Same as you and me, but we are alive😄.

I don't recommend doing that. I didn't eat anything for a while, and I was always thin my whole life. Then when I did eat again I got insulin resistance and gained weight and can't lose it.
When you starve yourself, then you eat, your body stores the food and turns it into fat.

That is the worst way to lose weight.. it will come right back and maybe add more.. you can't " bounce" diet like that.. it doesn't work.. it takes time to do it right and keep it off.. a healthy pace is 2 lbs a week with proper diet and exercise.. don't be fooled by those stupid diets
