How many hours after work do you for yourself before you have to prepare for bed and the next day?

It depends on when my day starts. Lately, I have worked mainly with our office in Tokyo, and I live in Europe, which means Tokyo is 9 hours ahead of me. I get up at 6 am and do meetings, kick the Drama Queen out of bed, and I work until noon. Then, I have a lunch break and return to work for the last two hours. I finish my work at about 3 pm and have free time until I go to bed - at about midnight or 1 am, which gives about 9-10 hours of "free" time

Even at nights, my hubby & are occupied, if you'd consider a glass or 2 of wine after dinner being "occupied".

"Me time" starts after 11:00 pm on days preceding a workday.

2 hours later, usually 1:00 am, I'll begin dozing off to dreamland.

About 8 hours if I’m not busy running around doing stuff, running errands, etc.

but I also work a manual labor job to so it really depends on what I’ve done that day and how tired I am some days I crash and go to sleep the moment I get home.

Typically I get ready for bed about an hour before I actually fall asleep and I wake up about an hour before I need to leave for work. Mind you I wake up at 3:30am every morning and I work 11 1/2 hour days.

that's not much. dooable at your age, and maybe at my age for a while. but eventually, good to have a balanced life, if possible.

when I worked I had hours usually 4-5 or so.

Its different, as i work multiple shifts, with afternoon shift its already 21:00 when i get home.

With nightshift, i am already at work when i go do bed.

For school, it's like 1 hour (Not including eating dinner and feeding my animals), and then I fall behind on schoolwork if I do take that 1 hour

Finish work at 6. Get a little time with kids and do bed time, done by 8. House work till 9. Usually fall asleep between 11 and 12

I go to work whenever I want so I don't have a schedule. If I stayed up to late I sleep in. If I went to bed early I go in early. I rarely sleep more than 6 hours.

Pretty much the same for me. After I cook supper, eat, tidy up and have a quick shower it's pretty much bed time, I get up fairly early too.

well, that varies... as I do not have the regular 9 to 5 job... but a business to manage

sometimes I get three to sex hours of no action... and sometimes I go to bed right after done with some work stuff, around 2am
