What happens if you bring your phone in sauna?

I like spending time in sauna but the sauna I go is the room type. Not like the one in beauty centers which is below neck. So I cannot do anything in there and it started to become very boring for me. I like sauna because of health effects but I would like to bring my phone inside with me. But I can't be sure because of the heat and steam. Can I bring my phone in sauna? What do you think?

I dont think it is a good idea because of the heat and steam. Phones aren't made to handle that kind of too cold or too hot environment. The heat can mess with the battery and the internal parts, and steam can get inside your phone and cause damage too. It might end up not working right, or it could even stop working altogether. If you're looking for something to do in the sauna, maybe you can try relaxing like focus on the heat or think about your day instead of using your phone. It's safer to keep it out even if you are bored.

Void your warrenty for water damage (yes, they'll think you dropped it in water for a long time) . Might even short circuit your phone from the humidity.

Probably fuck up the weather sealing so your phone wouldn't be safe to consider waterproof anymore.

Low but still concerning possibility of messing up the screen.

Phone won't charge for a few hours because it will think it's been underwater.

People might feel uncomfortable with it being there.

Since we once had a phone go into "survival mode" when we left it in a locked car, I don't think a sauna would be a prudent choice either. I sometimes bring mine in. I'll put a wet rag in a ziplock and set my phone on it when I'm not actively using it, and that keeps it cool enough.
