Alone working from home sucks for me. Anyone feels the same?
nope...
I simply love it. The total freedom to organize my time as I please or need. Not losing time to commute, not being force to spend time in crowded open space in the office.
I can work in my pace, with music playing loud without caring for coworkers. I can make lunchbreak, when I want it, I can go for run during my break and then shower and rest... I can work from my bed if I feel sick but don't want to get time off. I can work from my bed in general... or balcony...
and on the top... all public offices or doctors appointments are during working hours... I have the freedom of scheduling my hours as I please. I can skip meetings during a day or just realign them to my schedule...
work from the office is exhausting and depressing... work from home is a pure bliss

It's common to get depressed or bored with social inactivity or a lack of stimulation in your life. You're not alone on feeling this way. I didn't even need the money I earned from my old job, I worked cause I wanted to get out of the house and do something other than watch t. v. all day.
Stick to a routine, interact with friends/family more, and start having hobbies or side goals.
That could be:
- Spending 15 minutes to an hour a day on learning a new language (duolingo is free)
- Working out
- How to properly mince food
- Drawing
- An instrument
- Jiu-Jitsu or any martial art
- Plan a day or two trip to maybe somewhere in your state that genuinely would be interesting to see. (EX: California - Redwood forest, Texas - Texas Chainsaw House, Michigan - Mackinaw Island, etc.)
Also, depending on the type of job you could look for ways to be ambitious or a goal of improving your skill. That is at least if it is something based around arts like animation or if it is programming.
not me...
but in my personal experience... working from my home gives me the chance and flexibility to see friends and family, and of course, my pets... so... the opposite of being more of alone at the office from work

I’ve always loved it. Been doing it on/off since 2018. I love not having to get dressed and being able to laze around in between clients calls. I get to listen to music and catch up on tv shows and eat when i want. I love it. I only get stressed/depressed if the client is being unreasonable
You always want what you can’t have. I love my job, what it entails but man almost every single day I’d love to drive into a wall. I feel numb most days just because I realise how horrible most people are nowadays.
I’d live to work from home! Give me the same pay I’m getting now but to work at home and it’s a done deal! Think I’d be mentally so much well off and happier.i like hybrid. i cannot do full remote. i got extreme depression, even more depression than i had previously, when my office had to go remote. i literally had no purpose. i got up, and sat at my desk. and then went back to bed after work. such a horrible life to live. i don't know how people like it but whatever. it will phase out eventually, i'm telling you.
It is a privilege. Imagine you didn't have this, now that would be depressing...
Some people love working at home and some don’t, maybe you can ask your boss if you can change setting? Human connection is essential.
Yes, that was a big problem for me. I never really found a solution other than going out a lot and spending beyond my means. You could always try finding a second maybe part time job that isn't from home.
I had a very hard time last year. You need to find activities and hobbies to get you out of the house.
And embrace your freedom. Go work in the park on a warm day. Don't sit in the house.
No, but I was unemployed for over a year after Covid. I stayed home by myself most of the time. I really was getting depressed and isolated.
Its not work from home that's causing depressions
