Got this in the mail from my gym.. what does it mean? am I gonna have to pay 3 bucks just to get in every day?

Means that every transaction you do with your creditcard will now cost $3 more (Because their payment provider is charging them more most likely). And if you give them your bank account details they can use an alternative means of payment that doesn't have the additional fee.

I don't think keycard, creditcard. So if its hooked up to your creditcard and they bill you every single time then its $3 per visit. If you pay per year with your creditcard for a full year access with a special card of theirs then its $3 a year.

I assume that they put a monthly charge on your credit card every month. The credit card company charge a transaction fee so they are passing it along to you. If you give them your banking information they will now have access to your bank account. You also gave up control of that information so it can be sold to hackers. I pay my gym fee in advance for the whole year. See if they do that. t.

if you pay every time you go into the gym via a card, then yes, you will be adding $3 each visit. otherwise it's whenever you pay with your card.

I'd rather pay the 3 dollar fee.. There is no way I'd give them my bank data, it makes it nearly impossible to cancel the membership.

It happened to me at planet fitness. They required that I fax them a cancelation letter in essay form explaining why I want to cancel, and they would decide if I get to cancel. So, I went to my bank and had my account numbers changed. They tried to sue me for it, and lost.
