It depends on which procedure you get. They can give you pills to induce early birth and you can kind of get rid of it in the toilet, another option is to have them remove it by hand which, as far as I know, don’t create any scarring or need for recovery.

honestly i'd worry more about the emotional pain than the physical. it's definitely not a nice process to go through and you'll struggle not making your husband notice it... maybe if you pretend to have very bad pms... but I don't know. like depending on how far into pregnancy you are, they will stick a scraper in your cervix and if you're late in there's also gonna be another tool that cuts apart what is in there for easy extraction...

Two of my friends had one. One took the pill and she said it felt like really awful cramps. The other one had a physical procedure and she went on a vacay like a few days after. Both friend suffered a lot emotionally though… it’s definitely a major emotional event/trauma.

My girlfriend had one and she had the pill one. She had some heavy bleeding while it passed so I’d recommend some adult diapers instead of pads. Emotional part is pretty hard. I’m sure you could just tell him it’s a heavy period and that would explain most everything
