I go for the gym a few times per week and I still can't convince myself to shower and fully change there... so I come dressed for training, just jeans and hoodie on... and after I get my stuff and return home to change and shower...

it will take me a few months to feel comfortable there :D

I'm very comfortable in open showers. My freshman year dorm had two stalls for showers, but they were almost always taken in the morning so I'd use the open shower that had 8 showerheads around a pole in the center of the room most mornings. By the end of the year people would be having conversations while applying body wash to their ass and no one thought twice about it. The YMCA that I go to still has open showers in the men's locker room, and I use them after most workouts and every time I sauna.

I'm comfortable with a locker room as long as it is all women.

I wouldn't go into the locker if it's mixed genders. I get hit on at the gym from time to time it would be super awkward getting hit on by a naked guy when I'm naked.

Also, if I'm in the locker at night and alone in a mixed gender locker room what is to prevent some perve from trying to rape me.

This seems like a bad idea.

I showered like that all my life after gym in school, at the indoor pool as kids, in sports clubs in Switzerland it's the only option they don't do separate showers in locker rooms you just shower together and honestly it's not a big deal if you're used to it it can be fun we used to drink beer after the games in the shower together it was fun :)

I kind of am but, when we were kids, there was all this talk and jokes about someone being gay and how incredibly awful it would be so, we (or at least, I) wanted to avoid any of that as much as possible so, once I got into Jr. High School and discovered that we're expected to get naked in the locker rooms and get showers together, I avoided that like the plague!
In the past 40 years, I've hardly ever gone to a place where I need to use the locker rooms but, when I did, I didn't really give much of a shit about being naked in front of other guys, anymore. I've also had friends of both sexes over to the house for naked swims in my pool.

I don’t shower in the washrooms at the gym. Not because I don’t feel comfortable but because I’ve seen people masturbate, and a couple other things I’d rather not mention. I find them to be absolutely filthy.

Doesn't bother me. That's the way we did it in gym class in high school and college, not a big deal. It wouldn't bother me if the showers were coed, but I don't think many women would go for that.

When I was in High School that was fine. Nobody was weird. Not even the one gay dude we had in the school. But when I went to university is when the weirdos started showing up. There would be guys who hung out in the locker room butt naked all day long, staring at you. In that situation, no thanks. Little did I know, I was witnessing the start of these weirdos creeping into every area of life.

Heck no! Even if it was empty for the fear of coming in before I was done. I’m not against the idea, I just don’t know how anyone could be comfortable with it. Although I am shy and not exactly self confident… Still, just the thought of seeing other guys naked in the same room as me is enough to make the idea uncomfortable.

Tbh I hate it because I don’t like being barefoot since it can be dirty in there and flip flops or sandals are a hassle in there. I hate beach ones because of the extra sand there and no offense but women take forever and sometimes leave a big mess lol. But ya I don't know

I did it in bootcamp. It’s all mental. If you focus on the fact you’re there to shower and that’s it, you basically begin to feel you’re the only one there
