What options for birth control have less side effects?

I was first put on Tranexamic acid by one doctor, but it didn't help me with periods. During that time, I had an irregular period. I was put on rigevidon by my next doctor. After that, birth control pills were changed to Microgynon® 30 pills. I experienced some side effects with both types of birth control pills. In relation to Microgynon® 30, I have very sore and heavy breasts. I have stopped taking birth control pills. It is my mum who arranges my doctor's appointment. Does shutsme up when I think of other options for birth control other than the pill. I don't think I got chosen. Is was to make my period more regular and to be known when I was about to start a period. I was thinking about a birth control patch or implant. I'd help with my period and moods. I was thinking about less side effects on birth control option?

The pill is probably the most varied form of birth control that currently exists with a wide variety of dosages and mixed medicines to help. Continuing to seek out different pills with different combinations isn’t a bad idea on your mom’s part.
I would do research on your own, birth control comes in things like the patch, the IUD, a monthly injection, a tri-monthly injection, chewable pills, non-chewable pills, patches, and whatever the uvaring is. Each carries their risk of side effects and there’s no way (that I know of) to accurately predict if you’ll experience side effects. I would ask your doctor about your options and if there is a prediction method.

My mum's option is only a birthday control pill but I want to use another form of birth control that is not a birth control pill. My mum thinks the patch will fall off. From UK don't have many options unlike the USA and other countries. Can't used iud since I had bad experience with pap smear test that wasn't successful.

Talk to your doctor, you can ask your mom to leave the room when speaking about your options

I’d be surprised if the UK doesn’t have a similar right to privacy like the US does. If you have an equivalent to HIPAA, you can.

Yep but I can't just tell my mum to leave when comes doctors appointment. She always going to be with me

You’re 26, unless you’re not able to live independently due to disability reasons, you can ask her to have the appointment privately

Nope I can't even live alone since I'm got a learning disabilities that stop me.

I can’t imagine there’s any learning disability so severe you have to be under a conservatorship

Abstinence is 100% effective with no physical side effects. Other than that, always using a condom is the best, 95% effective when used properly. The only known side effect of condom use is minor irritation (use lube!) and possible allergic reaction to latex.

Condoms tent to be the best as they both block STD's and work as a birth control method that has functionally no side effects
