I went to the dermatologist today.
I got my moles checked.
she also checked my scalp mole and said it's a normal mole, saying "it could be a target mole" like with a target shape🎯. it's lighter on the center. I already saw a dermatologist some months ago and he said it's just a normal mole too. I am still scared tho. with target mole on the scalp is that more likely to get melanoma? do you have any experiences with this?
what if I got it after a sunburn?
I know they both told me it's a normal mole but I am still so scared it can become melanoma.
I'm 18 years old. what do u think?

You're concerned about a "target mole" on your scalp. Two dermatologists said it's normal. While scalp moles and sunburns can raise concerns, their professional opinions are reassuring. Continue monitoring for changes and practice sun safety. If anxiety persists, consider a follow-up or a third opinion.
thank you for your answer!
for sure I worry too much for everything😩
It's just a mole that looks off. Nothing to panic about. You're going to the dermatologist and they'll monitor it.
you're right, I worry too much🙁
I think you should listen to qualified medical professionals rather than ask strangers on the internet.
you're right but maybe someone had experience like this
