How do you feel about the CDC’s top laboratory on sexually transmitted diseases being shutdown?

All 28 full time employees were fired. This was one of only three laboratories in the world that conducted surveillance for infection rates and drug-resistance patterns and recommend the best ways to treat these infections. This comes at a time where drug-resistant gonorrhea is one of five most urgent threats facing the country. There is only one drug that can reliably cure this very common disease.
