Would it be okay if I told my moms friends doctor about her alcohol use?

My moms friend who lives with me has a lot of trouble walking. It was really bad a couple weeks ago, so we took her to the hospital. They did some tests, and there was a lot of alcohol in her blood. The doctor said that the reason she can't walk well is because of her long term alcohol abuse. She can't drive, and she is going to see her doctor tomorrow, so im gonna drive her, and meet the doctor with her. I doubt she'll mention her hospital visit, but I think her doctor needs to know. Would it be appropriate if I told him?

Yes, tell her doctor if he doesn't know already because I think 🤔 when you go to the hospital they notify your doctor and send the lab results to him/her.

Yes. The doctor needs to know. You are helping her by making sure he has the full picture of her health. That is the appropriate and caring thing to do.
