Trending & News If you are eating 706 calories a day you are going to be very, very unhealthy and underweight very soon (if you aren't already). Everyone's calorie requirements are different depending on their height/weight, age, level of activity; since you are 16 and still growing and need even more energy to keep growing and be healthy you should be eating AT LEAST 2000 a day!
i have myfitnesspal on my phone too, but depending on what you want to weigh, it's calculates how maniy calories you should eat. the average cal. amount for a whole day is about 1,400 calorieis. I know it seems a lot but that's the amounnt that you need to be around. it is still good to have it around 1,000 cals. also. hope it helps!
Eat as many calories as you need relative to your overall activity. Your machine needs fuel.
Like Anony said, 1200 is the minimum. That's if you sit around in bed all day and do nothing. Unfortunately, you'll end up a shapeless stick with no appeal.
If you want to work out and get a nice shapely body, you need more than that.
um. yes. your body is starving itself=not good...
how do I stop it 'starving' without pigging out? I eat 5-6 meals a day and they're all healthy
you have to eat enough to fuel your body. you have to eat healthy. and you have to exercise. keys to health.
its seems as if you aren't fueling at all with your "meals", because 700 calories will get burned up sitting for a few hours at school. not to mention all of the stuff you do throughout the day.

It all depends on your body type, your metabolism, and how much you exercise, BUT I don't know how 706 calories would be enough for *anyone*. Even most diet plans I see don't go below 1200 calories. Typical nondiet intake is 2000.
How many calories did you normally have before you started dieting? The healthy way to do this is eat 250 calories less than what you normally eat, then exercise off another 250 calories.
You need to take in at least 1200-1500 calories a day to LOSE weight. At 706 calories a day, you put your body into starvation mode and it will store fat (if you don't use a supplement to move your metabolism).
Yes, that's not enough.
Your body will be in starvation mode.
Heck no I's not enough. You must never exercise to avoid collapsing on that intake.
The minimum calories a woman should eat is 1200 calories per day.
Well it's just not the food intake are you active or not because that effects how much cols. You should eat a day
I believe 2000 calories is average for people. You need to eat to lose weight. You need a metabolism to keep losing weight.
Of course 706 isn't enough
Calorie intake depends on activity, weight, height, age, and your goals. Generally speaking 700 calories is quite low, even for someone who is 5'3"
